We’re going to try for 1pm. If the pavement looks like it won’t dry for awhile, then it’s a Vans park session.

Brain, can tell me about how far the first cone will be from the leading edge of the starting box. I'm extremely weak in that department and need to practice badly. By the way, the movie that you made with my camera came out great, I got a kick out of it! Never saw myself skate before.

Jeff, usually it is around 10-15 ft. I like to have enough room to get about 3 quick pushes to the first cone.
Try practicing going into cones set straight about 6ft on center. If you can make that then you will have no prblem on Saturday.
The course will be slightly more difficult than what you were riding on Sunday. Except the bottom section will be faster.

We will get everything started around 10am. So longboards at 10...traditional around 12-12:30.
Typical Outlaw rules. Course will be tightish. Vlad will call it GS. Wear your race face.

G-ASS? It's about time we have a real man's race in DC! I'm tired of wigling! See you at 10.

Well, we finally got some cooperation from the weather, and had some good racing Saturday at the Park and Ride.
Brian P was still recovering from a bout with the flu, but showed up and did a great job. Thanks Brian. Hope you're feeling better.
Looking forward to the next race.
