Re: ISSA - Voters - Complete listing
Here's the same listing in another way.
This one is organized in a way that better describes who's got a vote for what. It'll be easier to keep up-to-date. In case of any doubts, always rely on this listing. It's bound to be more accurate.

Only reply to this specific thead if you notice mistakes in the listing.
There are other topics where you can reply with sponsorship or new memberships. For new payments, just paypal and then double check on me that I update your membership status in the above listings in the next few days.
Thank's to everyone for the support of this forum and the attempts to get ISSA going.

This is a question. Just wondering how something works. I just noticed that "initial site sponsors" get 3 votes (that's cool) and "Old ISSA representatives" get 1 vote. Some people are listed with both categories.
Do they get four votes?
I feel silly offering this disclaimer but experience with slalom leads me to do it: I'm not complaining or being critical. I'm just wondering if this was considered when calculating the total number of weighted votes (I think the total was 106.)

I just updated the membership listing with the 2007 site sponsors. That also opened up additional ISSA forums for them, which was important as we're approaching elections and also decisions on 2007 race classifications.

Is this List complete?
I know as a Board member I sound clueless, but for those of you who don't know, the Paypal goes to an account I'm not privy to.
As Secretary, though, I'd like to get a comprehensive list of all ISSA members and generate an e-mail list (I don't think that exists, does it?)
Once done I intend to start dropping LOTS of e-mails to get people involved. The rules issuse, Chaput's insistence on being a maniac about sixwheelers, the Worlds, the sanctioning process, the World Ranking and whether or not to order wheat or rye for lunch is just suffocating the ISSA's reputation.
It's really time to get moving.
Anyone disagree and like things just the way they are? Let me know.

Email list
Yes, we should get them involved. But we need a mechanism to do so, a timeframe, and a structure with at least one ISSA board member leading each initiative.
I suggest that we (ISSA board members) establish what we are trying to accomplish in each of those areas before we initiate the call for member participation.
No sense inviting everyone to the party without arranging for the party location, the kegs, etc......

We Have A Goal!
I just did a quick check of the Slalomranking.com rolls.
There are currently a total of 938 skaters with points in all classes (Pro Men, Am Men, Women, Junior Girls, Junior Boys)
The ISSA now has 84 members.
Let's push to make sure the membership represents a MINIMUM of 10% of the active slalom racers!!!

Max registered at this site back in 2002 and I think he came to the race in Cologne, probably 2003, so he should not be excluded. But he may not be skating just this year.Donald Campbell wrote:Max Bimler, Germany
Mike Ernst, Germany
both are no longer active
Mike Ernst, haven't seen him for a while. Has not been seen in the revival.
At the moment, once member, always a member. Until the BOD changes that rule.

Changes since voting started:
Marcus Seyffarth, goes from 1 to 2 votes
Pat Chewning, goes from 2 to 3 votes
WT, I hope you can keep track of these changes.
If you have already voted in any of the forums, it'll be difficult to handle your upgraded membership, so most likely we'll keep you where you were at the start of this week.
New members are still welcome!

Pat Chewning, goes from 2 to 3 votes
WT, I hope you can keep track of these changes.
If you have already voted in any of the forums, it'll be difficult to handle your upgraded membership, so most likely we'll keep you where you were at the start of this week.
New members are still welcome!

I'll vote in the 3-column, when I decide
I'll be voting in the 3-vote forum, when I get around to it.

Petr Cervinka, Czech Republic just signed up. He's one of the former ISSA coordinators and he wants to vote, so I've added him to the ISSA members user group. Welcome back to ISSA and the international slalom scene Petr!
You Paypal USD 25 / EUR 20 to issa@slalomskateboarder.com to sign up and another payment for each additional vote. The maximum number of votes you can have is 5.Jadranko Radovanovic wrote:Where i have to pay for more votes ?
The election right now is held with variable voting power depending on how many votes you "own". There is also an ongoing vote to find out if we should end this kind of weighted voting power. If so they BOD will come up with some way for owners of multiple votes to give them away or to just loose them. It'll be one of their first decisions as part of the 2008 BOD.Jadranko Radovanovic wrote:Does we first vote with power voting and after the election changing the statutes to 1 Voting power ?

You are looking to far to sponsor someone!
Stefano, don't you have a young child you could sponsor. I heard the baby has been riding already.
You will of course need to vote for now. See you soon, EH!

I don't understand. What's to sort? Everyone has one vote now.
As far as the compensation plan, that's another matter. Everyone now has one vote although some have yet to redeem their compensation. It's not like some members keep their multiple votes UNTIL they are compensated.

Re: ISSA - Members - Complete listing
Don't worry Wesley. I just meant that we'd be delighted if he pays the membership fee for a local slalomer. That's one more member and 25 USD more in the bank. I'm sorry if it could have been misunderstood.Wesley Tucker wrote:I don't understand. What's to sort? Everyone has one vote now.

This is the list of members who currently have access to the ISSA members forum. That should equal the entire membership of the ISSA as of today, Feb 15, 2009.
The following are members, but not registered on the site. Apart from Jean-Michel Attia we probably won't see these guys here at the forum.
Mike Ernst, GER
Jean-Michel Attia, FRA
Valdis Sermols, LAT
Martin Sweeney, UK
Erik Raitviir, Estonia
Kaupo Kukli, Estonia
Jun Yokoyama, JAP
Aleksey Makarov, RUS
Yuriy Fomin, RUS
Daniel Ridoli, SUI
André Sidler, SUI
Please note that the weighted voting system described in the top listing in this thread is no longer valid.
