flowing around
some didn't know that,but we have a flow-team.
only a few noteworthy persons are in that team, namely:
sam gordon
jim weatherwax
eddy martinez
marion karr
it doesn't matter to me how good these guys are all that matters is the personality.
also your buying habits don't affect that decision...
eddy and jim just got in yesterday and that for being as they are and what they are.

I can personally vouch for Marion and Eddy as being great skaters and all-around swell eggs! They both do much for skating and will be wonderfull spokesmen for your boards, Donald. You should've seen them at the Dixie Cup showing off their Pavels - they were truly beaming like proud parents.

Roadster
Donald, how you doing?
I know I'm not on the "flow" Team but I certainly felt like it when you handed me the "Paul Price Roadster" at Brixlegg in July.
I finally got around to setting it up this Saturday night in readiness for the Sunday
race at Cadwell Park Racetrack.
I'm running Bennett Offsets and Zig Zag Retro's.
Did not get to have any practise runs on it as time was tight but went straight into qualifications on it instead.
Came out about 7th overall I think, but I am very pleased with that as I haven't skated
since November due to work commitments.
I gotta tell you Donald the Pavel really works for Me. I couldn't believe how well my back foot just locked in place on that tail!
Once again, thanks a lot Donald and I hope to see you some time this year.
Oh.....by the way you would love Cadwell Park. We are trying to get something sorted
for the Summer!!

Think I'm in esteemed company here! That Outlaw chappie is pure quality (eh, hombre?) so Jim and Marion must be first among equals.
Ed was looking a little too good on his new setup at Cadwell. Fresh out of the box and racing like the board was an old friend, goldarnit.
Whilst we're on the subject, Cadwell Park has an excellent hill for GS. Fast and steep with an uphill runout at the end. Similar to Brands Hatch, yet seems to offer more speed because it is so narrow. We laid out an extremely testing course with wide offsets and rapid verticalis, yet the Pavel GS board with GUS (yup) up front handled all with ease whilst remaining stable as a rock. Thank blimmin' goodness!
And every Pavel built with Dastardly intent:
Thanks Donald!
SAM
Ah yes. One other good reason to venture across the Channel is that Cadwell is in Lincolnshire. Apart from the racetrack, the whole region is famous for just one thing:
Wurst. Good as they look.

Ha ha! Thanks Civ. Now, if only I were 20 years younger and my hands weren't tied to a lamp-post offstage right.

What bothers me most as a posh bloke is that Campbell has better understanding and usage of English than I do.
Thank God his control-switch is wildly out of kilter.

WOMAN: Well, how did you become king then?
ARTHUR: The Lady of the Lake,... [angels sing] ...her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water signifying by Divine Providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. [singing stops] That is why I am your king!
DENNIS: Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
ARTHUR: Be quiet!
DENNIS: Well, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
ARTHUR: Shut up!
DENNIS: I mean, if I went 'round saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
ARTHUR: Shut up, will you. Shut up!
DENNIS: Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system.
ARTHUR: Shut up!
DENNIS: Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help! I'm being repressed!
ARTHUR: Bloody peasant!
DENNIS: Oh, what a give-away. Did you hear that? Did you hear that, eh? That's what I'm on about. Did you see him repressing me? You saw it, didn't you Luv Ya Sam. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws. If you see me at the Sizzler feel free to ride my Pavels, once you ride them you are hooked.

BLACK KNIGHT: Running away eh? You yellow bastard, Come back here and take what's coming to you. I'll bite your legs off!
Hey Eddie, it looks like the planning for the Cold Fusion Sizzler is going great guns.
I'll be at my niece's wedding-on-the-beach down in OZ that day, but I'll get the loving couple to drink your finest health!

Faster than a cheetah, more wily than a coyote. Even the fox is interested.
Congratulations to CAT on becoming the Pavel Flow team First Lady!

While I'm sure the first two are great bros, I haven't met them personally. But I can say without hesitation that Marion and Eddy are two of the most top-notched bros out there!Donald Campbell wrote:.. a few noteworthy persons are in that team, namely:

Wax, here's one for you.
The British Open Slalom Championship this weekend was sponsored by a new micro-brewery called Glastonbury Ales.
Free beer for competitors and a keg for the winner.
That was all the inspiration Paul Price needed, getting first place on both days.

1st Paul Price
2nd Michael Stride
3rd Clingfilm
