That bast . . . er, mastermind 66 has decided on something a little different for next weekend's Red Clay Cup. It'll be a dual slalom but using most of the hill with a straight course:

The idea is a course that's not the least bit technical but really fast. I decided that we've all tried "downhill slalom," but this will be more like "slalom downhilling."

I found that about two-thirds the way down the course, wind resistance picks up tso that you reach a point of diminishing returns with your pump. It was best for me to just go into a tuck and wiggle through the bottom:

It's gonna be fun. Sure, it's possible to set the same ol' thing and run some twisty hybrid, but why not have some fun and really rip on a fast hill? At least, that's what this guy's thinkin':
