Winter Races

I live in California right now, but in December I will be coming to Virginia. Ive been living out here for a couple months now and have been kicked out of every place Ive skated, and all of the hills have stoplights or stopsigns at the bottom or right at the middle of them. I want to be able to skate in a race or ride a good hill when I get out there. Does anyone know when there are going to be races then or where any good hills are at? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Here in DC we try to race even in the winter. Just post here when you come this way, and we'll hook you up with info. (Dates will probably not be set until the fall.)

Plenty of cool places to skate.
