Having not skated in anger since I can't remember, uh 1985 rings a bell, anyway the past week on my new Roe PS Unlimited w/105 Siesmics and Avalons has been fantastic!
In case anyone is shopping sight unseen like I did,(the flex profile sticker said MED/STIFF I'm 195 lbs.)I'm using the longer wheel base holes and when I take a modified parallel stance 1-1/2" behind front truck there's just a hit of camber left. Oh and the build quality is beautiful!

Hunter,
If you skate surf stance I would have to recommend the Keith Hollien TS for TS and the GS for HS. I know this will come as a big shock that I would recommend my boards, but the shapes do work. Take a look at my boards and check Rick "66" post about being in your area T-day. If you have any questions my contact info is in my section.
Later Keith, Teams Radikal & RoeRacing.

After riding my Roe Unlimited my friend Ray a slalom newbie. Asked me how much I wanted for the board. Ray is definitely STOKED!!!! I will make him a good deal. I will miss the board, but on the other hand I have a friend to ride with. Ray also asked me how much did I want for my GS/City Bomber Insect Board, be happy that I am selling you my Roe bro, but hands off the Insect. Great job on the boards Steve and Gareth. Eddy Texas Outlaws. KCR good choice on your slalom quivers.

Got my Roe today and I'm very impressed. It's my first slalom board and I love it so much. I took it through some cones and it's great. It's very responsive and easy to control.

FINDING SLALOM SPOTS
Alex:
Try bike paths, park paths and access/maintenance driveways in parks. None of those places have cars. We always defer to foot and bike traffic and wait for them to pass before running. All of my favorite spots fall into the above categories. Pretty much everybody at the spots totally digs watching us skate.
I occasionally set up cones late at night in my neighborhood after the traffic dies off, usually around 11:00 to midnight. If you're still just a kid you might want your parents' approval for that. I set the cones off to the side, out of the way of the few cars that do occasionally come and wait for them to pass before continuing.

I've found some allyways but the pavemant is all cracked with grass and stuff growing through it. The bike paths are all way too crowded. Park paths and maintenance driveways are the only ones that I can see working I'll look out for something like that. As for skating around midnight, it would work if I didn't live in LA, there are still plenty of cars on the road at midnight and there is no light source once it gets dark. So my best bet would be a park path or maintenance driveway.

I just got a chance to give my Unlimited PS a good workout yesterday, WOW!!!!!! What a great deck! It felt perfect under my feet. I'm new to slalom, but I've skated for 30 years, this thing rides like a dream and looks better than most of the women I've woken up with................
then again, how good looking of a girl am I REALLY gonna get!

Unlimited PS - Wins the 2004 Slalom World Championship!
Ron and the others-
The Unlimited PS is a great deck! It was originally designed by Terence Kirby and has been described by many as the "Swiss Army Knife" of slalom skateboards.
Gary Fluitt just won the 2004 World Slalom Championship on a stock - off the the shelf - 2004 Unlimited PS.
Gary was riding the very same deck that anyone can order directly from us or pick off the shelf at a limited number of retailers around the world. The Unlimited, like all of the RoeRacing decks, are hand-crafted one at a time.
Get yours today! Contact us at sales@roeslalom.com for more information about this deck and to place your order!

Listen to him^ , he's pre-med!
and he's quite right! For that kind of cash, you're foolish NOT to have one, I can't say enough about how nice this deck is. I'm SURE it'll jack me right up into contention with Mr Mollica.....
eating contention, NOT slalom!
