dan i recently got a rear seismic truck, when i set it up notice how close the inner lip of the wheel get to a "spike" on the hanger, i should be worry about it ? if i sand it out o cut it, may compromise the structural integrity of the hanger ??
thanks in advance

No harm in filing away a bit of that aluminum edge. Though it would be just as valid to add a spacer on the inside of the axle, or to try a different wheel with bearings that are less center-set!

i´m using biltin bearings, so there´s no much room to put a spacer on the inside and the axle reach to the nylock of the axle nut.
i´ll sand a little on the edge just for a confidence boost
thanks again

I am also using a seismic rear with biltins with both zigzags and hotspots. Though that lip is close, I've never noticed it hitting at all. Just my $.02

thanks for the input willy, but after an acl reconstruction & 1 year off the board, i´m a lot more cautious.
