[2004] LA COSTA
Hey folks - heard about this race? Who's going?
I'll be there both days. This'll be my second slalom race so I'm totally stoked.
OH YEAH BABY!

Initial results
(The following was copied and pasted from the other site.)
Mollica ripped! That guy is clearly a cut above, although every single A-list top 8 racer was incredible to watch.
An announcement was made that they were going to finish up the A's right then and put off finishing the B's until the following morning, because of police pressure to vacate the hill at the agreed-upon time. The B's were going to have to finish their runs this morning. The above times for B's may be preemtive. Maybe there a decision to go with the standings as they were rather than doing the final runs?

La Costa Tight

More of my little comments:
Wow! Not as tight as some might have liked but certainly fast!. The 'A' finals were awesome: Dong vs. Mollica. Brown Bomber vs. Evans. Woo hoo! Many, many other incredible matchups. I was humbled by what I witnessed today. Woo hoo!

LA COSTA - STILL FEELING THE BUZZ
Oh yeah! I'm still flying high from this weekend. I am so totally stoked I got to meet and skate with these great people. Good vibes and selfless hard work for two long days. We are all so fortunate to have had an event like that. Thanks to Lynn, Hamm, Tiger & Sherman. My first (real) race. I'm the luckiest. Everybody that I met & skated with - I love you all.
