Steve,

It's a damn shame to cover up the whole top.
Patch the clear grip in the middle & get some edger grip for where your feet go!
That way at least some of the cool fabric will show!

I spent my 1st full day yesterday on my new Pappas hybrid.
Wow, wow, wow! I pumped on a flat bike path. & the minute that deck got up to speed, it just took off like a rocket ship. That tail is definitely a gas pedal & allows you to put the pedal to the metal, so to speak!! I was going so fast on my way home that I was able to pump all the way up the hill to my house. I have never been able to do that before.

This design is a winner!
