No, but they are lively and snappy. They're not oak planks...

We're starting work on the maple/carbon protos this week. Will see were that goes flexwise...

They're made by Eric "Rick" Brassard, good friend, member of our local crew, and wizard.

I think Claude even uses one of his toe stops.

He also makes ultralight wood/carbon/foam boards and start ramps, among other things. He even made is own CNC machine!

He is giving us a big hand with the maple/carbon protos.

i dont understand why you use the 86 zags as back wheels for anything but ts, but then again, you guys are probably faster than me. in salem last weekend on butter smooth pavement i was sliding out a bit on 84a and most were on 80a's.

i just got some orange plus though so i'll try the 86 on the back.

ummm looks good. I cannot wait to get a HS under my feet. I pretty much decided that whenever I travel from now on I'm taking a slalom board and my walmart cones. Because you can always find an empty parking lot or tennis court to practice in and I can't transport a pumper or distance board long enough for it to be enjoyable.

You should understand Malcolm. You've met me and seen how fat I am!

In fact, I don't have a lot of wheels to chose from. I have the opposite problem most of you guys have. I can't ride anything under 86a because the wheels deform too much and I loose traction. So practically all my setups have the Zigs 89a-86a combo because there the fastest for me. If I need to slow it down a bit, I change the back ones for coned 86a Avalons or trimmed grey Turners (can't remember the duro right now... 85a???).

Danilo uses the 89a's on the front of some of his setups too, like me. And several others here use the 86a's front and back with good results.

You got that right cfav! The rear ones on my GS are so coned and used, they look like beat up Avalons. They praticaly have the same lips! Mmmmhh... I think I need new wheels.

Looks like you were headed for the top spot in the Slalom with that 1st run time in the Nationals...what happened on the second? Bummer!
