the rears are offset, the front aren't:Adrian Alderson wrote:Luke,
the hanger looks the same as the front truck which also has the axle inline with the kingpin.

swapping the hangers wouldnt be a super idea because you don't really need so much traction in the front, but traction in the back is good. that is what GOG did. the only way i could see swapping the hangers is 2 offset hangers for super wide GS where both trucks are having lots of pressure put on them. other than that they should be fine the way they are. but traction is a good thing in the rear.

Just heard from Frank (designer of GOG) who advises that you could swap the hanger, but because the axle isn't in line with the kingpin when you rotate the pivot angle the height of the axle above the baseplate will change too. This would then alter the angle of the rear truck as the deck would be changing angle. Soooooooooo much engineering and calculations involved in these designs, so many issues a mere mortal like me had never considered.
I can't wait to try the adjustable rears and I'll definitely be waiting expectantly for the adjustable fronts too.
Cheers
Adrian

the baseplates are protos too,by the way...

I have two sets in my hands. One mine, one someone elses. Maybe she gets them. Maybe she doesn't :-P.
Apart from working quit well (Dom beat plenty of fast guys at the GOG Outlaw by a good margin), they are both sexy and mean. Just like I like my womens.
Frank does a hell of a job lining up the right truck with the right hangar, does detailed QC process and makes sure everything is right. He took a long time explaining the details to me and it was appreciated.
It always cool when we get a new option in slalom. It's even cooler when it actually works.
