Rick,

This is the hill that's going to go the way of the Do-Do soon, right? I assume all those hay bails and orange fences are where the contractors are going to start putting up houses any minute now?

66, you bastard,

Thanks but the short notice makes it impossible. As a result of recent events of which you are aware, Sundays now are pretty much my day with Dad. Whether its out to dinner or going over to my brother's, we've kind of got into a routine of making time for each other at the end of the week.

Oh you'll like this. As a coincidence of all coincidences, Dad called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to that place we ate a couple of years ago out at Folly Beach? So we're off the Starfish Grille.

I have, though, already informed the Old Man I'll be out of town NEXT weekend. Hope to see you then.

I did mean Hair, but I'm glad I made that mistake.

Now we got to see 66's total photoshop BS air.

Dude, where were you really? On your couch or something?

I don't know which is more surreal: that Thrasher would pose for a photo with Bob Dole or that Dole would pose for a photo with Thrasher.

And that's how I finished off my right knee grinding over a deathbox and the back trucks lapped over. My mind said to go to my knees but I dropped like a sack of potatoes. Weapon of choice that day, BDS My Chemical Imbalance, Shogo Kubo Dragons 87 duro, Randal 150 front and Indy 169 back. I knew I was pushing it, but I had to. Sk8ting is dangerous and I will do it again. If there is one thing I rediscovered this year was that it does not matter whether you are cruising on a longboard, cutting through some cones, kickfllipping, vert riding, shredding a ditch, sliding down a hill. It is all skateboarding, plain and simple you may not like one of those disciplines. Bottom line it is all skateboarding and if you never got it you never will. Thanks for the Vid 66. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Oultaws. On the mend.

66,

You comin' Sunday? hook up with RonO and head for the coast. I'll post pics tomorrow of the course and my start ramps. It'll be a fun way to spend the day.

Olsen told me in an e-mail he has Monday off so he'll be able to sleep it off. Get LowJ and Patio. Make it a road trip for the ages!

Post by Rick Floyd » Thu Jan 08, 2009 6:39 pm

Hey Michael and Keith - GO GATORS! As a lifelong Nebraska fan (I know..."N" is for kNowledge - spare me), and official SOONER-HATER (bring back the big 8 - or at least put us in the same division...what genius made the division splits up?) , I gots to root for Florida tonight.

Nothing against Nebraska, Oklahoma, or any other top notch team.

Should be a good game.
