Wedging

Post by Luke Melo » Sun Nov 12, 2006 4:26 am

What is an appropriate wedging for a radikal claw and tail on a tight slalom board? im thinking around 18.5-19" wheel base. Bushings that i will be putting in are most likely Black and Green, and in the front, Clear and Red. It's likely i will lathe a clear to a half sphere.

Thanks,
- Luke

wedging

I think most people are running around a 10% wedge.

I have set-up a 15% for really tight stuff.

I run the rear flat. I may try de-wedging the rear 5 or so.

On my TS (AXE 1 19-19.5") I run 13-15 degrees and shaved clear/clear front. Probably 5 deg negative and green/black on the rear truck. 10-13 deg and perhaps change to unshaved clear in the front when it's less TS.
