NCDSA Note?

Post by Marty Schaub » Wed Apr 27, 2005 6:04 pm

Hey 66,

I just saw a note on NCDSA about qualifying on Saturday morning? But nothing noted here. Could you give an update on what gives?

So we won't be qualifying Friday on Trade Street? I'm confused, could you explain the possibilities a bit more?

Nah bro I saw the surgeon today. He has me on bedrest. He decided to hold off on the surgery and decided to remove 100cc of yellow fluid from my knee instead. I laid there and bit down on an Avalon, I believed it was a shaved 86 duro. It hurt like a mxsx#!r. Look for my teamates The Texas Outlaws, Chris they are some coolest dudes I know. OG Marcos, Mike Money, Will J, Brandon and Gumby. Here is hoping we see each other soon bro. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws.

Hey Ed!

We will all miss you. Packed and waiting for our ride. Your right having fluid does hurt like H#$%. Especially when they touch the BONE.

Take Care and it will heal up. The surgery delay may be a good sign.

I'm buying WesE a pair of skateworthy shoes in size-8 with a non-puffy tongue if he promises to change his signature.

My thanks to 66

Rick,

I wanted to take a minute to personally thank you for all of the effort you put out for this weekend's event. This was my first contest in a long time, and I had a ball. The biggest difference I can tell you about now and then is the comraderie shown by all of the racers for one another. Eveyone put up with my constant questions as I schooled on gear and technique all weekend.

The top of the hill Friday night was such a fun time. Everyone cheering the GS results of all the racers from Mollica on down was so cool. The support shown was awesome.

And Rick, back to you. Your help in loaning me a deck to get me started was the beginning for me. Now I am re-hooked on slalom and am looking forward many more races starting with The Farm in August. After that who knows?

Thanks 6 for a great time! What's the dates for next year?

Oh and congrats to C-bark, you were ON on Saturday bro.

Rick- thanks again for putting us up and headquarters and for an awesome weekend of skateboarding! I had so much fun!!! Friday night on Trade Street was soooo much fun! I'm glad we got to throw down some runs Saturday- you predicted the weather well- I was sure that rain was there to stay- but it turned out awesome- every bit of it. Congrats on a good race weekend. Your cement park is awesome. Thanks for everything!

Chris Barker- wow. Congrats- it was great to see ya again.

Lynn Kramer- that girl is a hoot! Lisa, Katii, it was great to see ya'll before you're all Englandifyed for a while. Tell Elisa we missed her.

Missed Sidlo and Goad, Eddy- hope that knee heals with a quickness.

Everyone was awesome. My love of skateboarding + the comraderie of these events keeps my stoke at an all time high. XOXO

Betty

Click here for my Red Clay photo galery. Give me some slack on the quality though. This was my first real digicam session. Also apologize for not getting everyone. Taking pictures while competing is not the easiest thing to do. BTW, when it asks for a password, enter "WesE".

If you are the subject of any of those photos, I will supply you with a larger version, free of charge. Contact me via private message at slalomskateboarder.com if interested.
