Marcos and I will do our best 66. You and Byrdog are a hard act to follow. The Texas Outlaws are starting to grow. You will be stoked when you meet the rest of them. I had the pleasure of riding with them today. Great session. Positive vibes. The STOKE was heavy. I spilled first blood today at the bottom of the hill. Just roadrash. I turned over smiled at my friend Danny and said " can you help an old man up son." The slam woke me up, you can't get to comfortable sometimes. See you at the Worlds Bro. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws. Marcos we missed you today.

I am having a meeting with the City Officials of Browsville, Texas on Thursday regarding obtaining a permit for having a slalom contest there. Marcos is also awaiting comformation from a city near Houston, Texas. Houston would be closer for everyone to come to and compete. But if the City of Brownsville gives me the permit to hold a slalom race there first, then it is a go. I am showing the city one of Kennys DVDs and assuring them that the city will be covered with insurance. I am also submitting a letter RedBull Energy Drink to see if they would be one of our sponsors. Many racers have said that the Rio Grande Valley down here where I live is too far to travel to compete. That is OK. We are trying to promote our sport, get exposure. The Texas Outlaws are growing in numbers. I will travel to as many GRS events in 2005. Doesn't matter how many hours we have to drive to get there. Will keep you bros updated on our progress. Eddy Texas Outlaws.

I have tried to get the city to agree with me on place to hold the Sizzler (there precious few hills in the houston are( all to no avail. Eddy Martinez is talking to the city of Brownsville Texas to see if we can get permission that way. If this does not work, we will still have the sizzler although it will have to go outlaw,

iEh Eddy, mi Hermano!
I'll be in Texas most of this coming week (Jan. 24-27)...Houston on Monday and the Dallas area Tuesday through Thursday!!
Laura is due in late February, and most of my time & effort is going into getting ready (if one truely can) for his arrival sometime thereabouts, so I'm gonna hafta pass on the TXSlzr this year.
I'm hoping to get in touch with you to see if I can do any skating Wednesday and Thursday, somewhere near Waxahachie, about 45 minutes South of Dallas. My meetings are at 7AM & 7PM each day, so I'll have lotsa time in between meetings.
In the mean time, Days out here are sweet, and I still need to get some excercise on the weekends. Ditch, Park or Slalom in AZ, anyone? If so, visit the Phoenix GRS forum

Steve mi Hermano. I will miss seing you. But the race season is just starting. Here is hoping we see you at one of GRS Series Contest. I learned alot last year from some of the best in our sport. Once I shake this crummy flu, it is time to practice. The Rio Grand Valley is as far south as a person can get. Look forward to racing against you again sometime this year. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaw.
