Hi all!
Is the first time that I write on this Forum and I'm going to present me:
I started my adventure in this exciting world of longboarding few months ago thanks to Franco Di Giorgio, our Association's President.
I became soon a fan of this discipline and I'm trying to learn anything about it. I also started to train in slalom skateboarding and I will be one of the rookies of this contest.

There will be a lot of "real riders" and I hope that all you will come and win this slalom race!
The Prize money specific for Slalom race is 2.100 euros and is divided as follow:
Parallel Tight Slalom - Open
1° class. 400 eu
2° class. 200 eu
3° class. 100 eu

Parallel Special Slalom - Open
1° classificato 400 eu
2° classificato 200 eu
3° classificato 100 eu

Parallel Tight Slalom - Women
1° classificato 200 eu
2° classificato 100 eu
3° classificato 50 eu

Parallel Special Slalom - Women
1° classificato 200 eu
2° classificato 100 eu
3° classificato 50 eu

From 4th to 8th will be a lot of gadgets like PUMA Mid S and Suede shoes , T-shirts, Caps, and hardware

Also for Juniors we will organize two parallel Slalom Races and they will be all awarded with decks, wheels, safety shorts, t-shirts, caps and so on!

With my actual preparation I only should win a cap or a t-shirt:-)

Thanks Lorenzo!

It's great news that you are doing this Italian race. Just a small question: how are you doing that Junior/Women race? Is that really one class? Isn't it better to split it up and let the girls have the money and just give some stuff to the kids (and let them have their own class)?

Hi Jani,
any your suggestion is and will be welcome!
I spoke about it also with Franco Di Giorgio and you are right. I make a mistake indicating the two category together, so now I'm going to correct the post just to avoid misunderstanding.

Thanks again
Lorenzo

Thanks to Di Giorgio Family, Lorenzo and all other organizers for a great Event - organised with Love for slalom.
There is a big potencial and future for Milano & Italy. There was a lot of intersted kids in slalom on the race area. Atmosphere was great and I spent great time in Milano.

Competition was exciting. Realy happy about all Juniors racing here. Open category Fabian Koula did not expect three world champions and fight for Podium against so experienced three ones, only flying cones did not let it happen.
Luca and Maurus without some years competing show The unrust quality of racing.
This was a good expierience for Local racers to see good&technical racers.
This one was my first competition in Italy and I will look forward for next Year coming!

P.s If somebody have foto of my fall in case of broken truck in the final i will be intersted to see Photo.

Dear Janis,
it's really a pleasure to receive your compliments and knowing that your Italian visit have been positive.
As you saw we put all our energies in the organization and management of this event and receiving all these appreciations, from you and all other participants, is an injection of energy for our mind, muscles and souls:-)
We believe in kids and we are strongly working to promote the Slalom speciality in Juniores trying to teach them the technic and giving all the necessary hardware to start their path.

We are sure that at the next edition of The Slalom Race there will be a lot of new riders and also I'll be more competitive and I will start from the ramp!-)

PS: my new setup have been improved thanks to you and your tips!

What a race!

Luca Giammarco comes back to fight Janis. We saw he had registered before, and we're excited to see him in the racing circuit again. AND!! as a bonus Maurus Strobel also enteres the race. All of a sudden it becomes a triple World Champion race!

Strobel also brings a Swiss team with top racers Fabian Koula and Jadranko Radovanovic. Very exciting! Cool to see that Fabian was soo fast and qualified ahead of Luca in hybrid.

Sad to hear that the trucks let you down. Real quality trucks would never do that to a world champion ;)
