Yay, I've been defending German Champion for the past 7 years (there simply hasn't been a German Championship since 2003). It's about time someone gets to fight for the crown, Dominik ;)

No trip to Germany for us. My shoulder is still "out of order" after Hradec Kralove with no hope of skating before 3 to 4 weeks. Hope you all have fun.

sad to hear that michel heal well best wishes from here

updates:

new ramps are finished 6ft awesome ride

new riders confirmed
we even managed to dig out vince hell yeaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

there is a video production company at the race

they will film everything and use the video material to fish for big sponsors for next year

this is a very interesting opportunity for the sport as finally companies such as-you name it-will be approached by professionals.

that company is something like a consulter,so the production will be awesome and chances are good that we will have different names in sponsoring next year, names we never had before.

i am very optimistic about the whole deal

news and pics every day in the evening here.
so check this thread sat eve and sun eve

thanks

Sounds good Donald - always good to hear of a bit of media interest - good for the growth of slalom.
Would there be any chance of getting a copy of the footage once it is edited etc. to show on our stand at X in the City?

See you in a couple of days.

then we continued as follows

group c merged with the last 8 of group b and battled it out

top 8 c group went ino the finl b group and battled it out the regular way

a group remained as it was

so we ended up with more racing for the not so good racers,it seems that this was good and encouraging for the slower ones.

A big thanks to Donald and the GOG crew for a top weekend of racing. I look forward to racing on that GS hill next year - with permission :o)

There are some photos from the weekend here:

See some of you in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks time.

Cheers
