Post by Cameron Conn » Mon Jan 10, 2005 11:40 pm

will a indy 88 mm offset work well with a 106 race track?
Its like a gift. I can't control it.

If that Indy 88 is from Chicken, then it has long enough axles so you can add spacers to push the wheels out to a width that will be close enough to go with the 106 RT.

What kind of setup are you trying to put together, a TS or GS? What type of deck is it?

You could if you wanted to, cut down your RTX hangers yourself if you wanted a narrower truck up front for a TS setup and wanted to use an 88mm offset in back. Or you could put the 88mm Midtrack up front like on these AXE decks here: viewtopic.php?t=2300

If you look at the deck that says Brad Jackman on it, that is a 88mm Midtrack up front and an 88mm Indy Offset by Chicken(PocketPistols) in the rear, which looks just slightly spaced out, but still looking narrower than the 101mm TTC on the other board. This is a good setup; with a good amount of wedge up front for the 88 Midtrack and Khiro bushings. And just a bit of dewedge under the 88 Offset, or ran flat even. That 88mm Midtrack hanger is on a RTS baseplate up front.
