Marty Schaub back on board...
Marty Schaub back on board...
Pardon the pun... Marty looked good on his first day back. He's been out of service since November of '06 due to reconstructive surgery on his shoulder. As this sequence shows, his shoulder looks good after surgery.
We had a nice afternoon of slalom with Marion Karr joining us on the hill, along with Georgia regulars Anne Howard, Tony Hall, Bo, and your author - RonO.
It was sweet having OG LCB Schaub on the hill and Full of stoke! I can't quite put in to words just how great it is to ride with Marty, Marion, Tony, Anne and Bo. I'm truly blessed to be among this exceptional group of people.

Yee Haw!
Way to go Marty! Glad to see things are coming around again.
Hope you folks had a great time. Looks like we got a few more inches of snow.

Danke!
Thanks everyone!
December through April was a bitch because I wanted to ride every day. First practice back was very cool with Ron & Hammerhead & the GA crew. Woody's outlaw is up next and no traveling until Hood in July. Just sold the house, so I am trying to find a new one as we speak. This one however is a must have basement so I can set up a Slalom base of operations. Hood, Buckeye, Nationals, Worlds, Dixie and what ever I can catch in-between! (besides beers with Lemonboy)
It's gonna be a fun year.....
