Any Slalom in middle Tennesee?

Post by Robert Hollett » Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:23 am

I am pretty new to Slalom, it all started with a great score on 25 cones at a yard sale for 4 bucks. A freind and I started setting them up about 8' apart and running them on our longboards 50" and 59" respectively. This was a blast as I am sure you know, well last week another freind hooked me up with a set of Avilla's for 15 bucks so I decided to try and build a slalom deck. I had a set of GK mini's from my sons first board and they seemed about the right hanger size so I used these, The board carves fantastic!

Anyway if anyone is from the greater Middle Tn area, I'm in Nashville and would love to skate with someone who knows what they are doing

Btw, this forum is awesome so much info, I could geek out for days

Robert,

I just Private Message'd you. I know there are at least two guys in Tennessee running cones. Alston Evans is in Memphis and Tim Shawl is in Nashville.

Both are registered here on SS.com. Use the "Memberlist" look up to get their profiles and e-mail addresses.

Keep us informed as to how things shape up in the Volunteer state,
