Dang, I should've looked at this forum earlier, I went to Arlington Skatepark for the morning old guys' session since I had a last-minute change in work schedule and I worked Sat instead of the normal Sun. I hope your session was a good one....it was v hot at Arl...and it was still morning. Welcome back, Vlad!

Drove past the Park and Ride yesterday and the thought of skating crossed my mind. I work near a really sweet hill we used to skate back in the 70's. I skated it with Wes E. a week or so before Lacosta 2001. I set my quicksilver woody up for my son to cruise around campus down in Florida while he was here on winter break.

I plan on running some cones on Saturday or Sunday if the weather holds out. I have a spot near me that is kind of shallow but still a good practice spot. Not sure on the bust factor....about as risky as any place we skate these days.
Isolated...with lights...could do 100 cones....could do duels. problem is weak hill...about 1/2 of Walker/P&R.

So I should bring my gun?
I would rather run duals and leave the gun at home.....LOL
Sounds good, ramps or no ramps? Give me a time and location I'll be there.

Ramps are not a good idea.
I will give you a call with directions. I want to keep this a secret until I know just how big the bust factor may be.
I just warn....Dont expect much pitch.

I finally set up the timing system for dual lane, got it connected to the computer and spent a couple of hours playing, learning & using it with Excelmate. Ready to test in a "live" environment.
Would like to set up duals on Sunday and play with the system some more, who's in?
