Anyone tried running their rear truck a little narrower than their front?
I watched a video with John Ravitch mentioning it. John maybe you can chime in? Seems to make sense, I'll be running cones today to try it. Here's my theory:
A wider truck can turn with less leverage, but is also a bit more stable feeling at higher speeds. Conversely, a little narrower in the back will do 2 things: Provide a bit more traction as leverage from your rear foot causes less turn due to the truck being narrower, AND you might clip less cones with your rear wheel.
Am I on the right track with my thinking???
