I know that the Buckeye Open is on the same date but we have no choice.
The Just for Laughs Festival in Montréal is giving us the opportunity to have a slalom race downtown Montréal on Saint-Denis street, Sunday July 22, 2007.
The hill is fast steep and has just been repaved. I don't have all the details on registration yet but there will be huge crowds and it will give slalom a realy good exposure. I have been asked to set the courses by the organisation wich is Top Challenge and the Just for Laughs Festival. There will be sliding and downhill demos to promote Top Challenge too.
So those of you not going to Ohio, come to Montréal!
More info soon.

We had as amazing day!
Superb weather and huge cheering crowds, for the most part this was their first exposure to skateboard racing and people were stoked! I got lots of "i had no idea someone could control a skateboard with that much speed and precision" and lots of" how old are you?" . The hill has lots of potential for a MUCH BIGGER EVENT.
Here are a few shots by Fabrice "F"
Seb Leger, winner slalom
Pierre 2nd place slalom
Nico the DHer ripping the cones with style!
Thanks F for the pics and to all who raced or helped.

Great going folks!
Looks like it was a great crowd and lots of fun, EH!
I was wondering why you were not at the Buckeye, Rick but now I know. Nice of you to come up and support the event.
Congrats to the crew for pulling it off. I'm sure events like this are the way to go.
