To all the racers that have come to Ottawa to compete in the canaday races since 2004 you will remember our lovely ladies that ran the BBQ for us. For those that came last year you may remember a last minute canelation of the BBq for the 2010 event.

It saddens me to inform you that Karen (the ladie in her 40's or so) was diagnosed with cancer and that is why she had pulled out last minute. News travelled through the dovercourt recreation center today shortly after noon that karen has passed away.

Please take a few minutes to say a prayer for Kelsey (Karens' daughter who also worked the BBQ) for us over the years.

Claude, please transmit our condoleances to Kelsey and all the family from all the Quebec crew. We really appreciate what they did for all of us over the years.
