One thing that should be changed is "Virtual Points" part. It seems rediculous that a racer should get points based on his last year's points total. I can't think of any other sport that starts off by giving every racer a head-start on points based on how well they did the year before. We have racer...

I really like this idea...for the most part. I have to agree with Cbark that it would seem unfair to make some people race one course and others race another, possibly slower, course...is there a way to work it so we race two runs (one on each course), or does that put us right back where we are now...

Jack- It doesn't matter when the race is...LCB will be there! I've heard about the last World's there, the hill in Cambria, the TS right down the center of town in Morro Bay...In my opinion, that is as good a place as any to have a race. I am already looking forward to it.

Wes- Is that something that would have to be agreed to before sanctioning a race? The reason I ask is that, if left as is, the maximum distance of 10 meters for a GS, and 20 meters for a Super GS, would force course setters to place cones in a somewhat straight line on the steepest parts of the hill...

I can already see a problem with the course requirements...

The course requirements, as voted in by the majority, will probably eliminate some of the best hills in the country from any future races. The GS races held at Big View and at Pump Station both had cones that were more than 20 meters apart in some areas...too far apart to even qualify for ISSA sanct...

As far as I know, the Chronocone is the only timer that does not require a person to manually input a racer's time into the computer. I don't think you can set a precentage that will be acceptable for every course. There is a lot of variation from one course to the next. Steeper, faster hills may require a higher number of cones be allowed to be hit before a DQ...it should be up to the race organizer to determine the number of con...
