I think it's the increased number of races, not fading interest in a specific venue that causes the decline you're referring to. Take Dixie for example. Anyone who has attended leaves wanting to return next time. But this year, it was 5 short weeks after the worlds with 2 pretty big US events betwee...

....and when CAN they be had? I was on Maria's list for a rear GOG (or 2) when she had them, but I guess things have changed? In the current market, how does one dedicated PVD user obtain an autographed Jason Mitchell GOG in the US so that an accurate comparison can be made without being flamed? I s...

Thomas, you're right - the busings are not completely internal, but they are as compared to other trucks. The bushings do get dirty and dry, but I've never seen one crack or look like it's gonna. I would suggest contacting Peter through his website. I haven't seen or spoken with him in a couple year...

I think Vlad made a set out of flywheels once. Expensive. Geezer X is a PVD advocate, if anyone could remake the bushings, he could (or'd know where to go). This might not make sense, but I think that because the bushings on PVD's are internal, they're less prone to drying or cracking. I have severa...

I've been looking for the video I took of Bomb Squad at Hays' farm jammer, but I can't find the mpeg I made - only the miniDV tape and I don't have the time to transfer and share it again (online) these days. But Mike - the singer, Christina Durfee, has been movin' on up since then and has been tour...

Don, The shoulder is feeling great, thanks. I was super stoked to get back on "the horse" in Dixie! It's been a long 4 months and in just a few more weeks, I'll be as good as new. Unfortunately though, it has become very apparent to me that I have A LOT of work to do to become competative again. I a...

COSS will be well represented, don't worry. Curt, it's nice to see you so active and interested this year; it's a benefit to our sport. But you've been relatively quiet the last few seasons which are really representative of the foundation of da Farm and the series that's developed around it. I, for...

Thanks to everyone who came out for the first race of the 2006 Farm Outlaw Series! I had a great time and I hope everyone else did too. Congrats to the winner, CMC, and to the fastest junior, Nick Iacovelli who went home with a genuine Jersey shore pork roll. Results: CMC – 16.660 Noah – 16.805 13 –...

Alright, it’s NOT gonna rain this time! We’re on for Sunday. To accommodate some that are traveling, we’re going to push the start time back to 11. Practice starts at 930. This time shift increases our chances of getting the boot by the cops, and toward mid-day, we’ll also see more and more cars dri...

Colin, hope you can make it. Everyone, A couple of things: the forecast is definitely making things interesting. Keep an eye on it and use your own judgement before hitting the road. If rain is imminent, we'll try to officially cancel the race by 6ish Sunday morning. But showers will probably be spo...

Joe, thanks for providing the run-down. I apologize to everyone (except cmc) for the apparent lack of info. This is a great spot to skate, but in all honesty, I’m a little nervous. I’ve never had more than about 5 people gather at PNC to ride. The idea of potentially having 30 or more people show up...
