I'll be 1.5 hours down the road by 7:15. Guess I'll have to make my own call when I get up.

I haven't stepped on a board since I got my new job on May 25th but I plan on coming up and seeing if I can still make it through 2-3 cones before blowing out the course. That is, if it doesn't rain.

According to weather.com it looks like 60% chance of rain on Sunday and some chance on Saturday morning. Time to say some prayers.

One question about the location. Is food and drink nearby or do we need to bring along stuff?

Jack, the only problem with that is that I'm a snorer so I wouldn't want to subject anyone to that.

After seeing the schedule for both days I might have to drive up Saturday and Sunday. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't have a timer set up last Saturday and it was fine. I tried to chase people down the course to see if I could gain on them. Worked well for me.

So does practice start at 10 or 12?

Vlad -- Is there a practice/race session this Saturday 4/9?

Jeff -- I've only been able to take it out for a short ride because of all the rain down here. It's perfect for me. I had a lot of trouble pushing off on a board with a bunch of camber so it always hurt my times at the DC races. This one I have no problem since it is flat.

Steve at Roe built me another great board. A Bonita with no camber and a wheelbase long enough to fit into the DC Outlaw rules for longboard. Thanks again Steve!

Looks like rain predicted for Saturday in DC. Vlad, you going to call off the practice? I'd hate to make a 4 hour drive up and not find anyone there.

This is great. I should be able to make it up every other weekend. I've got a new Roe longboard I want to try out on a properly set up course.

Anyone have any idea when the races will be for the Spring/Summer series? I'm itching to come in last place again.

Brian, it might as well be called the BOZI LONGBOARDS DC SLALOM SERIES RACES, look at the pic of all the racers and see how many Bozis are there.

I had the best time at the race. It was well worth the drive. I'll do it again for the next one. Time to practice so I can break into the single digits. Thanks to all the guys I met up there. A bunch of really good guys with a lot of passion for slalom.

I got about 25 minutes of video. Not the best as I was using somebody else's camera that I'm not used to. I'll see about getting it burned onto a cd for the rest of you. It's on 8mm right now. And the worst thing is I didn't get any video of myself.

Quick question about the Park and Ride. Is there anywhere close by to get some food or do I need to bring some with me? Looking forward to meeting the crew.

I was at the WV race and met a couple of the DC crew. I live in Lynchburg and would like to come out for the Nov 1 session. Can someone give me directions and info on what time it starts and ends? Anything special to bring?
