Pavel Freerider
Hi, I recently purchased this deck: http://concretewave.de/webshop/images/big/pavel_freerider.jpg the pavel freerider. I find the wheelbase a bit short, and from what i can see through google translate (my german is a bit rusty) drilling new holes would allow me to have a better behaving slalom boar...

the system works, it is in fact better that what is found in downhill where a lot of different bodies don't interact. i don't see the motivation behind trying to change this, the consensus is working as of today since there aren't too many parties involved, the decisions on points seem usually fair....

Martin please stop saying this, I'm sick and tired of seeing more and more of these trucks in france, I'm losing my advantage !Martin Siegrist wrote: do you really need more than this? it works great! incredibly stable!
I wouldn't trade them for anything. My thanks to dr magun.

Re: Pirate's slalom, Paris
All of the race times were very close indeed. In the GS, both Panda and I gained a second off our time because of a strong following breeze. Damn that Panda is quick! ...and he just eats shoots and leaves. Next time I'll eat, shoot and leave... (had to be done). And hopefully I'll get a chance not ...

Hi judy. A long travel from europe would be great, I'd like to come and race in california too. A 3 day event with 2 races (slalom and downhill) would be so nice, do you think there's any chance you can work something out with the local DH boys (like joe lehm). Well anyway thanks for putting events ...

Re: bottom feeders Vs. top feeders
I never did like that system. Carpetbaggers lurk. Worse, some of the Very Best Racing is in that middle-of-the-pack grouping, where riders of more equal abilities tend to pool up. What it should be is 'luck of the draw' once one 'heat' is done. Take the riders that advance, by bib #, draw them in p...

constructive criticism here. so the people in paris are unable to create an english version of their site. is that what it seems to be? we're working really hard on it (just a reminder last year we didn't have it ready either by that time and the competition went really smoothly). i'd like you to r...

World Championships - New venue proposal
Hi, As most of you already know we are organizing the Paris Slalom World Cup for the third year in May 2005. We are proud to say that this event has been a real success the past two years, it seems almost everyone enjoyed it. The venue is also one of the greatest for a slalom event, everyone who's b...

I proposed two things: 1. hosting of the site, since it would be cheaper for you and more flexible 2. taking ownership of the domain since it seemed nobody stepped up to do it and an association seemed better than an individual or a company, but if you revive ISSA there's no discussion than it would...

If you're not thinking about hitting cones with your board, and just cruising around (this model is not a slalom board anyway), you might want to consider indy's 139 or 160 with abec11 flashbacks or avalons, i think it will provide a smoother ride, the randall II 150 are also an option. I used to ri...
