Has <b>G&S</b> ever considered or prototyped vertical wood layups for any of their slalom decks?

AIUI, vertical ply is stronger and provides a livlier flex (although I can't really say I have any complaints w/ my horizontal plied FibreFlex slalom). Some of the FibreFlex longboards are vertical ply, are they not?
