Keep an eye on this topic over the weekend for the latest news on the race. I'll be posting partial results to the front page too. And then there's the usual facts/rumours/stories/cry-outs on FB. We'll keep you posted!
The weather looks stable for Saturday, Sunday, but not as warm as we usually have it. 19/20 degress C only, but for racing that's a good temperature.

If you have any questions for the weekend, you can reach me on mobile: +33648907756
I may show up at Trocadero Friday in the afternoon, but more likely we'll all meet Saturday morning!
It should be sunny on Friday, so if you're in town, go and skate! That'll reduce warm up time Saturday morning.
Preliminary order of events:
Saturday:
Registration, practice
Giant slalom
Tight (straight) slalom
Sunday:
Special slalom
Nations Cup (if time allows)
Prize ceremony

FINAL PROGRAMME
Here's the final programme, and adapted according to the weather forecast. Beautiful weather on Saturday, possible rain showers on Sunday. We know the Trocadero dries fast when there is only light rain, but it may disrupt the program on Sunday, so we'd better try to be as efficient as possible on Saturday.
Usually it takes a bit of time to get started in the morning, with installations, registrations, greeting everyone and getting the courses set up for practise. However with a risk of rain on Sunday, we will try to get ready asap on Saturday morning, so please come early and help us get going. As there is not such a large number of participants there are chances we can run GS, straight easily on Saturday. With the risk of rain showers (although fairly light) we will try to fit in two runs of qualification for the Special slalom already Saturday evening.
SATURDAY
08h30 Registration
09h GS practise
10h Giant slalom, 2 runs
13h Tight slalom, practise
14h Tight slalom, qualification
16h Tight slalom, finals
18h Special slalom qual (if time allows and the weather forecast says rain Sunday)
SUNDAY
09h Special slalom practise
10h Special slalom, qualification
12h Special slalom, finals
14h Nations Cup
16h Awards, overall
NATIONS CUP
The proposed Nations Cup is just a fun event with no special awards other than the immense honor of being the coolest, fastest and most beautiful team! If we have the time to run it, it'll happen, but if rain disturbes us on Sunday we may not have the time to run it.
Maybe to your surprise we have created the teams for you already. This is our provisional team distribution. This will change only if we have more or less participants (not according to your selection or preference). The jury will choose the team setup. If you cannot participate for one reason or another you may choose to not

Nations Cup Rules
The qualification of the Nations Cup is the straight slalom on Saturday. Based upon the result of each rider we'll pre-qualify the teams and then run them head-to-head. Course will be shorter than the usual Straight, probably 30 cones. It will be a fast and fun race. Rules: First to 5 victories, max 5 cones hit then DQ, no cone penalty. Winning team moves forward, loosing team is out.
