[2012] EUROPEAN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, early Nov [Cancelled]

Post by Donald Campbell » Fri Jun 29, 2012 8:06 am

as you read this i am finalizing a project that started when our czech buddies declined their indoor contest.
we have a remade factory here at my place where the skatepark and my factory is located-in duesseldorf-roughly 100m long.
i was in the building this morning and also had very succesful talks with the owner so far.
the surface is polished and sealed concrete-brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
i want to preannounce this race for late october early november 2012
exact dates will follow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when we throw this contest we want the main status of the lost and gone Czech indoor race
we will host a 2 day event which will also be the german indoor chmpionship for 2012
prize money and stuff from name brand companies
free drinks and food
perfect light and the best surface ever!!!!!!!!!!
2m high start ramps
digital timing with 2 separate screens for the racers.

what i need to do now is
a:check the surface,is it really that good or slippery
b:set a date in the timeframe i mentioned

please share your thoughts and let me know if there is any interest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

the location is absolutely amazing and i am already in the process of recruiting sponsors for this event.
some companies will be big and skate related, some maybe not.
we can talk about prize money too and also free food and drinks
starting fees will be around 50+ for contestants and kids and and juniors will be free.
i will negotiate a possible date for this event next week when i tlk to the owner.
please remember that our skatepark is withing 2 minutes walking distance of the contest and it is very likely that we will have a
party and a session there in the evening as well.
more details will be available next week then.
depending on the # of participants i also want to host a nations cup again-didn't happen for a long time
as well as a 50 cone world record attempt, the conditions are most perfect for this-there will be money available too.
so i hope this fuels more interest too.
