Help A Brother Out

Post by Tyler Hager » Thu Apr 05, 2007 3:02 am

Okay, this is probably a really dumb question, but I'd thought I put it out there anyway. Ya never know, right?

Clear rads are some of the most prized possessions to slalom skateboarders.

Last night when I was practicing I split one and I'm out of replacements.

If anyone has at least two clears, preferably untrimmed that they would be willing to part with I'll gladly pay for them.

Now, lets hope I'm just not shit out of luck.

Tyler:

I have a pair, but you have to trade your "SOUL" to get them.

Should you wish to trade - contact me

All the best,

Rob

Yeah, I was running a radikal truck. Trust me, I'm as baffled as you guys are.

Sydia- My soul is currently unavailable, but I do have the soul of an Asian teenager, will that suffice?

As long as they are trimmed to like a barrel shape, I don't really care. What have you got Fat man?

i dont use the clears, too soft, and my last one seems to be in the mail, mabey even lost, to rustyfreind,

but yeah the whole point of my post is that i too have broken a clear rad bushing, it split right in half, its cause theyre really really soft.

my fav bushing combo for a front rad is red bottom, yellow stim top, both lathed. i wouldnt change this combo for anything its exactly what i want.

now if only i could dail in my gog this nice

I hope to have some clear and red bushings to test in a couple of weeks. Was the clear bushings that split untrimmed or a trimmed bushing? I have one clear untrimmed bushing I have been using for over three years and it is fine except for a slight color change. It is still clear, but a little dark.

But seriously, no one has any clears that they can spare?

Tyler,

I swapped out my trimmed clears for the White Khiro Bitch bushings... I get 2 sets and use the 2 bottoms as a set in my front Rad...no fuss no muss, works like a charm...

Thanks Tod, I'll try that.

Right now I'm running a retrofitted white Khiro barrel bottom. I took a counter bore and put a little divot in the bushing so it would integrate with bearing better.

So, I guess getting all those bushing "racer kits" from Jack when had 'em was a good idea?
