Hi

As a token of appreciation, keith hollien offered me a set of radikal bushings during the paris slalom event (thanks a lot keith).

I got two translucid bushings, a red and a blue one.
Can anyone give me the corresponding shores for these bushings and maybe give me advice on where to put them (front, back top, bottom...)?

I ride a tracker rts on the back of my board and a tracker rtx on the front.

Pierre-Yves, Radikal bushings come in the following hardnesses:

Clear 75A
Red 80A
Blue 85A
Green 90A
Black 95A

If you only have two, they would probably work best as bottom bushings, one on each truck. I'd recommend putting the softer red bushing on the front truck (since you will probably ride it looser) and putting the firmer blue bushing on the rear truck (since you will probably ride it tighter).

Of course, this all depends on how much you weigh. If you're a big, heavy guy, they may be too soft, but if you're in the 150-200 lb. range (70 to 90 kilos), they will probably work pretty well.

One other option: If your kingpin is long enough, and if you can find a bigger washer that will fit over the top bushing, you could try putting them on the same truck--blue on the bottom and red on the top. Many good slalomers who ride Trackers recommend using a longer kingpin and riding Tracker Stimulators (with the fat "donut" part shaved off) on top and bottom. Doing the same thing with the Radikal bushings would likely work just as well, if not better.

I actually have two clear bushings too and i weight 80 kilos, so the best setup would be to have the two clear ones on the front, and the red and blue on the back right ?

At 80 kilos, using two clear bushings on the front may be a bit too "mushy". My advice is to play around with it and see what works.

If using the two clears in the front doesn't feel right, then try this:
Front--clear top, red bottom
Back--clear top, blue bottom

I weigh about 70 kilos, and my Radikals work pretty well (for tight slalom and hybrid) with the clear top/colored bottom setup. They originally came with green bottoms on both front and rear, but it felt too stiff for me, so I went with red and blue on front and rear, and it felt better.

Again, use my recommendations only as a starting point, and experiment to find what works best for you. Good luck!

Pierre, you might need to do some minor trimming for Tracker trucks. I know a few people who use them on the top and bottom.

In my Radikals I like the red on bottom and clear or red on top for the front truck. On the rear trailing arm truck I like black or green on bottom and clear or red on top. I do use other combos, but the above is what I use most of the time.

In my Indy 101,s I trimmed the height of the bushing down a little so it would fit on the king pin. I like red(bottom) and clear(top) for the front truck and blue(bottom) and clear(top) for the back truck.

I would like to thank Brady for helping people aquire the bushings while out ordering system was being built.

The ordering process through the radikal-order site-AAHTS is now bug free.

For those who do not know, the bushings are made by KRYPTYONICS and are made with wheel urethane in GRAVITY fed molds. This adds more rebound to the unit as injected urethane tends to be "flat".

We chose the original KRYPTONICS colors and tried to make them the best bushings available for any truck.
