Does anyone know where I can get any more Turner Ceramic bearings? Ideally unused...

Martin, not the same thing but Purple Skunk has a deal on Ceramics that might be an alternative.

Hooked on Classics, sorry Ceramics Volume 2...

Thanks Marion,
I am still kinda partial to the Turners, they are the only bearings that run longer on the spin test than my Moc-9's...In fact the one set I have are so fast that I noticed at Morro that a slight breeze causes my wheels to move ;)

Martin,

Why not just e-mail Howard and ask him who re-labelled 608 ceramics for him? You know he didn't manufacture from scratch a newly-designed ceramic bearing. Someone made the bearing and put a "Turner" stamped plastic seal on it.

I doubt Howard has anything to lose by giving up a trade secret now. It can't hurt. And, he's still subscribed to this website and his current e-mail address is on the MEMBERLIST. (I e-mailed a few weeks ago when I got my Downhill Gun.)

You might find that Purple Skunk. Moc, Pleasure Tool or some other reseller is offering the exact same ceramic Howard had available three years ago. Like I said, it can't hurt.

Hey, one other thing: be sure to pass along here whatever you find out! :-)
