Tracker Green Stimulator and washers...

Post by Martin Drayton » Sat Aug 20, 2005 8:09 am

Sorry this isn't very exciting, I am looking for:
1) Yellow Tracker Stimulators
2) The kind of "half spacers" that you get with Chindy Offsets.
Can anyone help?

Post by Martin Drayton » Sat Aug 20, 2005 8:49 am

I forgot, I have a few original Tracker blues and would be willing to swop a couple for a Stim...

Hey Martin, I have a pair of green stims that were apart of a small batch of miscolors and are actually the same durometer as yellow stims. I'll bring these up to PC next Thursday unless you'd like to try them out sooner.

Somehow we all suspected you didn't know what you wanted.

The title says green and your request is for yellows.

Now, add the mistake that Tracker made and UR13 described in his other post, and you still probably don't what you want, or you want both, or all that you can get?

I have greens, but are they really greens?

PS. Pleased to see you're having a good time in Utah and it's really cool to you see that you already having gotten a slalom group together.

cindy half spacers

Post by Gib Lewis » Fri Nov 18, 2005 4:06 am

Hi Martin!

The half chindy spacers look somewhat like bronze bearings available on http://www.mcmaster.com/. They seem to cost about $5.50 ea there however.

For fine adjustments I have used washers in the past. These, used along with 8 or 10 mm wheel bearing spacers offer reasonable flexibility.

The following are stainless steel
P/N Thickness ID OD cost
98089A381 1.0 mm 8 mm 14 mm $8.53 for 50
98089A336 0.5 mm 8 mm 14 mm $7.52 for 50

Later,
Gib

chain ring spacers from the bike shop, Noah pointed me towards these and they RULE, multiple sizes, from 2mm up to 10 with some smaller than 1mm increments. I use em on my chindy offset and I dont think im even using the ones it came with anymore, these are that good.

Oh, and geezer has your yellow stims..at a premium.
