PVD R2 For Sale

Post by Barry Gourley » Sat May 22, 2004 10:27 pm

JEFF,
I emailed you about 2+ weeks ago before i bought this PVD i was inquiring about your trucks & had a few questions. I didn't get a reply then the PVD came along and i ended up buying it with the intention of putting a Radikal up front. Now I know the PVD is for someone who is a professional, maybe the Radikals is to. I just need to learn to skate better first.
Thanks,
Barry

the radikal is NOT just for pros it is a easy truck to work with.
i think a radikal up front would help most skaters.

PVD's are nice trucks.. But why would you want to spend good money on something that has an irreputable lack of customer service?? I've got Strokers from the 70's that seem to be easier eo find parts for!!

I've had nothing but great customer service from Peter Verdone. He was at the worlds with his entire tool box and stock, tuning trucks and helping customers on the spot. Just ask Tway how good is customer service is and Tway didnt even buy the trucks from Pete!
Another interesting fact is that Pete sold trucks to the racers for BELOW
Maunufacturing costs just so the trucks would get out into the race community. IF you have a problem with your PVD's Dave call me @ 603 235 6429 and I'll help you out.

True. Peter lost about $25 on every single truck he made.

Hmmm. I don't see the relavence of poor business practice/marketing and support to defend a products's negative financial standings! If I were to manufacture something and it cost 100.00 to produce, I'd be a foolx10 to sell it for less than cost . As I stated..PVD's are nice trucks and worth their money (if you got it) But don't broadcast the shortcomings of a business deal gone bad!
Sorry...no ill feelings here, I just like what I need ,when I need it and am willing to pay for it!
ENJOY!! (while you can)

Dave, you said Peter had "an irreputable lack of customer service". I am calling bullshit on that statement.
Are you speaking from first hand experience or from heresay? Do you own a set of PVD's? Lets get real.

Terry,
I'll concede, in part. I tried to purchase a set for months! Sent $ to only have it held for 3 months and then told he couldn't fill the order and was tearing up the check or would return it!I consider that poor relations!

Now Terence, you know as well as I ...I'm nice to all that are nice to me and usually even more so than that. I never dissed the product in the recent on goings, merely expressed my dis-approval of the P.R that directly effected me!
Pssst.. you'll be happy to hear I also adopted a dog recently !!!

Barry, waitin' to hear from ya!
ENJOY!! (while you can)
