WANTED Used Turner to cherish and ride

Post by Gavin Randall » Mon Feb 09, 2004 1:26 pm

Needle nose preferably wanted, but would consider a full nose. Ideally med-stiff flex, but would go to a stiff flex.

Apart from that I'm in the UK, though shipping from the US considered for the right board/deal.

If you've got one you want to sell pls drop me a line. gavtheoldskater@hotmail.com

thanks

Gavin,
I'd suggest contacting Steven Church w/ Turner Summer Ski ! He's in the U.K and I've bought/sold/traded w/ him a few times, and always enjoyed the transactions!! (And we've dealt in a few "high dollar" Items!!
ENJOY!! (while you can)

I have a recent GS/Hybrid that's practically brand new but it sounds like you're looking for a vintage board, right?

Did you find a cutaway? I have a yellow cutaway, stiff, made by Vince...

just wanted to say thanks to everyone who offered advice in my search for a turner. i now have a yellow needle, courtesy of david baker (a great guy to deal with), that is a pleasure to behold. slalom design may have moved on, but aesthetically the old turners can't be beat.

now, if anyone's got a full nose?

Red Bobby Turner Needlenose (cutaway) FS

Post by Steve Michael » Sun Jun 06, 2004 3:15 am

To Gavin or anyone else interested:

I have a classic ('78-81) Bob Turner Needlenose in Ferarri Red.

It was mis-drilled in 1981 in ABQ, NM, ridden once, and then put away.

Two years ago, Paul Dunn of Turner took in the sick puppy and did a stellar job filling the old holes with epoxy and custom drilling fresh holes based on his years of experience racing these beauties.

I'm considering parting with this one, and with the exchange rate being quite (VERY) good right now, BPN's buy a lot more in the US with the faltering value of the US dollar.

I have absolutely NO idea what to ask for it, so please make me an offer and don't worry about it being too high. ;-)

Anyone? Email me privately.
