I talked to Dennis Shufeldt (LC 2002) at the last event and both he and I agreed that this event takes so much time that the hosting should really be handed off to a new person each year. Both of us came up with Steve (and Brigg) Sherman for this year.

I know it's putting a guy on the spot but with a strong contigent of San Diego Turner and Gravity teamers, most of who were there in the 70's, it may be a good combo for a successful event. Plus, with Turner influence, we may just see a bottom-of-the-hill 6'TS, just like the old days. Here that Vlaaaaaad?

So, if you have his email <i>(it's sherm12@aol.com)</i> give him a shout of encouragement to take on the beast. The paper trail is already there and he'll be off the hook forever after it's over, plus we may just give the kid .4 towards qualifying.
