I don't really want to see Lavin's shoes but I do want to see a pic of that hill you found.

Quite frankly I'd like to see ANY hill in that part of Illinois :-)

Also, from what I saw this afternoon looking at the weather it seems as though any misgivings about traveling to Chicago in March were unwarranted. Y'all must have had perfect conditions.

Today was awesome.KIller hill,great support from the town.Chicago longboard society is a very cool group of folks that use social networking technology to the 9th degree,More details t come,many new friends made today,cf

It was a knarly little hill. I went down hard after hitting the tape on a lovely man-hole in the run-out... second qualifying round, I knew I should have worn my glasses! It was challenging to very challenging for the new riders but with the cone count DQ it helped just about everyone to get times and feel accomplished. The CLB guys did a great job. Like CFav said many new friends towns people included.
