[2008] September 7, World Record Attempts in Santa Cruz

Post by Judi Oyama » Sun Aug 31, 2008 10:35 pm

September 7, 2008 Sunday

Masters = if you are 45 yrs or older on the day of the race?
Junior = if you have not yet turned 16 on the day of the race?
Women = if you not yet have become dude on the day of the race?

Change of plans due to the heavy church traffic on Sunday mornings.
We will run the 25 and 50 on the Santa Cruz Levee which is flat and it is easy to run the course both ways and get a time.
Maybe even the 100 if we don't get kicked out. If we want to try San Jose we can go to San Jose on Bernal and run the 100 .

The location is Santa Cruz is near the Pets Smart on River Street. Park in the parking lot head to the levee up the hill from the parking lot and look toward the ocean direction and you will see us about a half a block down.

I wanted to do it local so we could save time and money instead of traveling South or North.

Thanks folks.
