Sven,

Sorry, I don't have any personally. I'll ask some of the people who were shooting if they do.

After Thursdays slalom qual Morro Bay communications seems to be shut down. Maybe I should call Dan directly. That's what I did last year and got him in the middle of the TS semifinals. I listened live until the final run when Strobel took his World Champ title. It was great. As close to live coverage as you can get for a slalom event these days I guess.

Pics needed...

Post by Martin Drayton » Wed Sep 21, 2005 5:09 pm

Thanks Billy, wish you had been there!

HELP!My kind colleagues at work have been in touch with our local Park City paper and they want to run a piece on the event, but I don't have any high quality pics from Sunday. Can anyone help? I don't think they want to pay for anything, but are happy to give credit...
Also my proud Dad (Sunday was his 82nd birthday),needs the same for the Trinidad & Tobago papers...Hey, maybe we should have a race there...Hmmmm!

Does anyone know if the PDF'S from Saturday and Sunday appeared anywhere yet?

The San Luis Obispo Tribune ran a photo of Jason Mitchell on the front page of the sports section today. The caption directs the readers to an online Slide Show.

I will try and post an overview of the event later today. I would be stoked to see some of the racer's post their Slalom Week experiences.

A full list will follow soon, but I want to thank all the sponsors and volunteers.

I would also like to thank all the racers for their outstanding cooperation in making this event the least stressful of all the World's.
