OK...When's everybody getting in for Bridge Day?

And who's up for an outlaw event Friday night?

Not sure when I’m getting in. I don’t even have lodging set up yet. I know I’ll be there in time for the Saturday Bridge Fest though.

Not sure of any place to have an outlaw session there isn’t much pavement to begin with. I'm up for whatever is available. Maybe in the filled-to-capacity parking lot outside the kroakeoke bar/hotel :D

RIP, Ol' School House. We miss your dark, creepy enclodure.

We'll be coming in Saturday morning. Unfortunately I waited until August to book a room and am in Beckley again. But I'm down for whatever as well. Have cones will travel.

Hey strangers! Sorry for the lack of communique..I've been swamped lately and internet/phone problems have been CRAZY as well. They have been paving a new road (used to be gravel) now it's prestine asphalt on a back road into the gorge..STEEP SCARY AND A POSSIBLE HEAVEN the top section is beaty ..not so steep(level in spots and a great venue for true outlaw (it's in the national park) We'll hook it up if possible, I'll drive it today for the first time in a few weeks to check out progress.. Brian P, did you get my emails???
Enjoy,
Dave G
ENJOY!! (while you can)

Dave, I will bring all of my timing equipment as a back up if you need it.

Somehow I was able to book a room at the Comfort Inn/New River. It was showing booked for a week then yesterday I was able to make a reservation.

Looking foreward to another great race. Let me know if you need anything. I have tents/timers/tables whatever is needed for a race....I can also mix a mean Gin and tonic.

Party on. See you in a couple of weeks.

Dave- Keep me posted on the outlaw spot. We need to get together for an outlaw sesh anyway; between you, me, Marc F. and Ben Barkey, we could start a slalom scene!!! P.S., if you're still looking for an non-standard wedding present, I'm in the market for a pair of green Avalons. LOL After riding the 84a quite a bit, I've found I'm still a fan of having something softer in the back.

Brian, I'm down for the G&T!

Wes E, be warming up those pipes for karaoke!!

I hope you folks all have some fun. I am really disapointed I'm not going to be heading down with a crew from Ottawa.

Dave I hope everything goes well for you and the crew.

Mr Gale, I plan on driving down from Northern Virginia very early Sunday morning. I remember reading or hearing somewhere that the bridge closes sometime over the weekend. Is this going a be a problem or am I just being overly concerned ?

Jeff
After 9/11 the Bridge is closed to traffic on Bridgeday (Saturday) It shouldn't come into play Sunday!!
For those staying in the area Saturday etc... The detour is about 45 minutes!! So if you are on the north side comming south /or vice versa plan ahead!! It closes @ 7:oo a.m and re-opens at 4:00 give or take!
ENJOY!! (while you can)

Hey fellow slalom racers! I will be rollin into town either late night(like 66, will c u at the karaoke bar) or v early sun morn if I have to stop to sleep along the way. On saturday I will be a judge for the new Frederick, Maryland's Hillstreet Skate Park for their first street and small bowl contest, then I'll blow outta town & head south and west to emcee the race... thanks to the Kill City P.A. system. I'm looking forward to seeing you all....it's going to be a great day. Thanks in advance, Dave Gale for putting on this race!! Hey 66...sometimes cell service is sketchy in them thar hills. If you beat me there on site on race day, then give me a wake up call, 66: 443-610-8488. I'm glad u enjoyed The World's, Eddie...we'll miss you.

66 or anyone else, you can reach me at five four zero two seven zero nine seven one six.

Parsons and I will be arriving @ Fayetteville around 11pm tonight. Staying @ the Comfort Inn (not sure what room though).

Portraying WesZeppilin was fun and all, but it’s not happening this year (Led Zep is just so ‘03, ya know). The Kroakaoke song list has nothing decent for me but I’ll try to pick something anyway jou ma se poes.
