Hello everybody,

a couple updates:

Unexpectedly the European Championship with MAJOR status will take place in Polička in August. Combined with the previous camp, an excellent opportunity to fine tune your form for the World Championships in Oregon!

This year seems to be the last, maybe the penultimate year, when we will still be able to enjoy the hill near Polička in Široký Důl. You may know it from the European Championships in 2016 or the World Championships in 2018.

The European Championships will be held in only two days. On Saturday we will go GIANT and then HYBRID slalom. On Sunday we will return to the heart of Polička to the traditional waterfront where we will do the TIGHT slalom.

We are looking forward to riders from all over the world, so don’t miss the chance to meet everyone on the hill!

Accommodation

There are several accommodation options in Polička. It is quite likely that most of them will be full. I give below the links where I know there is still room (July 2, 2023).

Hotel Pivovar:
Only rooms left in the tourist section. Which means shared bathrooms in the hallway. However, there will probably only be skateboarders there, so make yourself at home 😀
