Hello, friends!
We all love races - speed, competition. Emotions and adrenaline that it brings. But beside all of this such events gives us the opportunity to visit new countries and places.
Last year we've made a few small competitions in Russia, with about 30-40 racers in it in total.
This year we've decided to become more open to world slalom community - and we're inviting you to MAIN event, Moscow Slalom Race!
Moscow is one of the biggest cities in the world. It counts near the nine centuries of history, most of this time being the center of culture, political, economic life of Russia. Meanwhile, city has got a huge evolution last years and have become modern capital with mature industry of entertainment.
There are a lot of different places of interest here, that's for example:
1 Kremlin and Red Square, heart of Russia, most known historical buildings
2 St. Basil’s Cathedral, orthodox christian church
3 Bolshoi Theater, one of the world oldest ballet and opera theater
4 Gorky Central Park, one of the largest Moscow parks
5 Arbat Street, the oldest street with craftsmen and artists
And a lot of exhibitions and museums, bars and clubs and so on..
Actually it's hard to describe all variety of places in one post, better to look at the specific sites like http://www.moscow.info/attractions/index.aspx or https://goo.gl/AZPCoA
Here are some nice panoramas: http://www.airpano.ru/files/Moscow-Big- ... &fov=98.44

Accommodation
At this point we couldn't advise you certain hotels, because we didn't make the last decision about race place yet.
However, it's not a big problem - there are a lot of hotels/hostels at booking.com: http://goo.gl/sfYjPR
For example, double-room could be found for 40 euros per night.
The subway system has good coverage so there should not be a problem to navigate in the city.
Information about visas
To get to Russia you have to make a visa in our consulate in your country.
1. Most common way to do that - is to get "tourist" visa. For that visa you have to receive "invitation" from any russian tourist operator. For example, that's one of them: http://visardo.com/index.php?option=com ... &Itemid=25
I'll try to contact with some of them to finally check the details.
2. Also - we have another possibility - we ( so called Moscow Skate Federation) could make an invitation for foreign athletes.
You send us the list of racers, I'm making official document and send it by the mail back to you.
In that case humanitarian visa can be obtained - it's free or the fee is significantly lower.
You have to give me this info: coach/racer; first, last name; sex; citizenship; birthdate; № passport; period of passport validity; the dates of the trip.
In both cases it is recommended to put to consulate hotel and plane booking documents.
