There are seven candidates to fill three positions as EU status marshals for 2011:

- Rob Ashby, UK
- Donald Campbell, GER
- Gustavs Gailitis, LAT
- Ricardo Damborenea, ESP
- Petr Janousek, CZ
- Guillaume St Criq, FRA
- Petr Pletanek, GER

The duty of these guys will be to review race applications and award race statuses to individual races in a fair and timely manner. The position is valid for one year (all of the races in 2011).

Instructions:I will set up SEVEN different election topics and you are invited to vote in THREE of them. Please don't vote more than that as that may skew, or completely invalidate the results.
(This is not a foolproof election, but we'll give it a try anyway).

The elections are open for 7 days until Nov 12, noon (Central Europen time).

Thank you!

Hi

thank you Jani for nominating me :)
I know most of you since 2005 since i started slalom skateboard. Since that date i used to go to as many races i can... i also worked on Pirates Races, PSWC, and Meze events. I am also helping Jani to run ConeRacing since 3 years or more.
I am always happy when i can to to EU events and i still need to visit some more countries : UK, Switzerland (shame on me for those two), Spain, Italia !

I really would like to work as a status marshall because i do really care about slalom skateboarding.
I feel i will be able to look at ISSA criterias and give a balanced and ponderated judgement on race status assignment.
I would care for all racers feedback.
I would also care for IGSA and national longboard events calendar. That is where we can find new slalomers!

But ......
i am so happy to read that all other nominated mates have accepted!
As I fully trust in you all to make the best possible for slalom skateboard, i can decline my nomination without any hesitation :D
All of you already proved us your commitment to slalom on national scenes and i am sure that the 3 elected will be a good team.

The reason is that all of this really do not fit my schedule.
I really need time these days for extra projects.
I will most probably focus on local/national slalom scene for 2011.
I also want to work on making an event again, maybe for end 2011...

So i prefer let people who can be fully involved!

I wish us all a good 2011 season and i look forward seeing you all again!

Regards,

/Guillaume
