It is too early to talk about it but we will have four days of skating, music and schmoke of course.

The event will start on the Queen's Day (April the 30th). A big Dutch national holiday and we are throwing in a Queen's party with DJ Sany Pitbull from Brazil.

Due to my sponsor's requests I am forced to change the date of the Amsterdam event.

Sorry!!!

New dates are:

September 4 th, 5th and 6th, 2009

The reason is that the contest was too close to the Queen's day and that caused problems for a couple of important sponsors.

Hi Manuel,

Thank you for your interest in our contest.
I will post ALL the details on July the 1st.
The reason is that we are working on a better version than last year's and I still have a few things to finalize with the sponsors. One of them is a party on the Saturday eve.

Please wait just a little bit longer......

see you !

Josef Stefka wrote:MAIN status have only two slaloms and without GS ? 80 € ?

Hi Josef,

I am not going for a MAIN status, I will apply for a PRIME event since there will be only two races.

Regarding the 80 Euros for the PRO's.

The amount covers the food for 2 days. We are talking about real food. Then there is the T-Shirt and the camping site, for three nights. The rest of the money goes ALL to the prize purse of the PRO's who then go home with cash in hand just like in the previous years.

In 2007 I had only one day of competition and the fee was 25 AMS and 40 PROS.
In 2008 50 AMS 100 PROS, two day competition.

This year there will be much more regarding food, there is a party on Friday evening, and like I already mentioned the rest of the money goes to the PRO purse, which will start at an amount I am working at right now with a few sponsors.

Besides that we have a LOT of goodies for the AMS. I don't know if anybody noticed that last year the AMS that took home bags FULL of goodies, they were heavy bags, just ask anybody that won anything.

So there is no intention whatever to profit financially from this contest, rather we want to provide the competitors with:

a) A well organized event
b) Good prizes
c) A friendly and cheerful atmosphere where some hardcore racing can take place.

The event Green-T

OK I do understand that. It's very complicated for Status marshall this year. But yet I hope that not will as in Grenoble where Dalibor won only medal for second place where was 120 EUR entry fee.

I can understand, read the same announcement on another form.

'We will be rocking Amsterdam again. I do think we can have a NL champion this year, so this is THE YEAR!! ' (longboarden.nl)

I failed to see that this statement was left out of this post on ISSA.........

The Dutch (we call ourselves that when we win something) had a win in the UK last weekend OK but my first reaction to the statement was "no freaking way" can "we" get a win in Amsterdam. Certainly with the same competitors as last year.

BUT, after looking at last years results, the time differences then and last weekend, hmmm, just maybe "the Dutch" could.

So, I stand corrected

Hi Flavio!

Why don't you just do special, tight and hybrid? The hill is perfect for that, and then there is three diciplines!

Hi Carsten,

congrats with you wedding! I find it a pity that you will not be present though.
I have quite a few dives in Koh Tao, great place. Koh Phi Phi is not far from there and great diving as well.

OK, Antonio and Gustavs do have a point. I think we can do that without any problems. I just thought that having a GS was mandatory for the MAIN sanctioning.

I am putting together a new scheduled.
I will go for a three day event in this case. So I need to talk to a few people yet because I need to change a few things.

We start on Friday morning at 10 AM with Qualifing for TS.

More details tomorrow evening.

We can keep the MAIN status.

So:

Friday September 4th starting at 10 AM:
TS AM QUAL
TS PRO QUAL
TS PRO Finals
TS AM Finals

Saturday September 5th starting at 10 AM:
Sp AM QUAL
Sp PRO QUAL
Sp PRO Finals
Sp AM Finals

Sunday September 6th starting at 10 AM:
HS AM QUAL
HS PRO QUAL
HS PRO Finals
HS AM Finals

The Juniors and the Women qualify together with the AMS and will have a separated final.

Juniors and Women don't pay.
AMS 40 Euros
PROS 80 Euros

So far I can guarantee 1000 Euros MINIMUM PRO purse, but this is going to go up. I am still waiting for two important decisions from other sponsors.

Thank you City of Amsterdam.

For the AMS the usual FULL BAGS.

From the PRO fee 40 Euros go to the PRO purse.

Three meals (yes you will get Mexican food 3 days in a row)

T-Shirt also included.

I will post more this weekend and you will be able to register from this week end on. The price will stay the same, it doesn't matter if you pay here or before traveling to Amsterdam. HOWEVER paying in advance would really help us.

The Dutch Crew will run every single stage of the contest. We DO NOT MAKE A CENT out of it. And now I do beg your pardon for what I am going to say now but:
Considering the amount of crap I saw about in this " scenario " in the past few months I do ask myself why do I still do this.

I can only have BECAUSE I LOVE SKATEBOARDING as an answer. I don't need to make a living out of skateboarding in anyway.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE leave your bad thoughts or bad whatever at home. Come to Holland to skate.

Grab you board and join us in Amsterdam for a joint or two and lots of fun during these racing days.

Everybody is welcome!

PEACE!

Donald, You have been to my previous contests and you know that the courses are always set by a group of participating skaters.

So you know how I work.

The post you are referring to was regarding the training at school.

On this topic I always place information regarding our school activities. It is a great site that belongs to a group of hardcore Dutch boarders.

So have a look at:

AmsterdamSlalomSchool
and it is on :

http://www.soulboarders.nl/forum/index. ... 88.75.html

I know most of you don't speak Dutch but some of the posts are in English.

Yes I will work on different courses settings (TS, HS en SP) for the Dutch team training sessions from this Saturday on. Everybody is welcome by the way.

Donald,

In 2007 Dominik, Frank and Heino set up the course.

In 2008 you told me not to worry because you would run the contest in Amsterdam. We agreed that I was going to do the preparation and that you and your team would run the event. We agreed on that, it was your idea.

That formula didn't work though.
As a matter of fact at a certain moment during the contest you went sleeping in your truck! Ahahaha really funny. That must be the way you work.

C'mon Donald. Stop trying to put someone's work down. What is the point? You do a good job in making boards (although sometimes they do melt under the hot sunshine, but hey nobody is perfect!) You talk bad just about everything. You even bet your ass that there was something fishy about the Spanish contest, when you were not even there!!!!

But the way you lost you ass. No worries though, it is fine, I am pretty much sure that everybody agrees you can keep it. :-)

Anyways, back to setting up the courses, yes Don that was a misunderstanding on your side again.

so my firend there we go

you asked me for help for your contest
you asked for timing and ramps
i brought this along and you paid the trailer rent.
i never agreed at any point to run the whole contest by myself,at no point.
you were absolutely unprepared to run the contest in any way, because you had nothing, absolutely nothing there when we arrived, not even a tent,no tables, nothing.
i was overprepared and helped you all the way during the contest, with my crew.
so we had to run the contest on our own,but we had to jump into the cold water.

do not go that way and blame things on me or my group now you idiot, don't even f'n try that.
i did not go to sleep either,i got really sick during the first day and had to take a break from working a whole day,so you had to take care at least for 2 hours of your own contest.
did you run into problems doing that?
i guess so

what did you have?
a track for the race-nothing else
your conejudges were 15 year old girls that could not speak english or german and they were also not able to conejudge.you gave all responsibility away and left me and my friends standing there.

what did you do during your contest?

please tell me

i would like to know that
you were present at the awards ceremony yes thats right

you couldn't even take care of the key for your lousy toilet, that thing you gave me too

and you didn't even have the time to open a gate for us so that we could leave when we were ready, because you were so "busy".

i do not want to go into detail about this at all
you will see on your registration list how many people will not come there again because they knew what happened last year
i heard enough complaints about you at the contest.
you just didn't care-face it
your preparation was below amateur.

i really hope for all riders who make the mistake to go to your contest that you do better than that.

referring to the boards that melt under the sun.
good observation man.all epoxy boards get weak when you expose them for hours and hous to extreme heat, did you miss that part in class?

besides that why are you complaining?
you had free stuff and good support

i hope to see you soon on a different brand board,it makes me sick to know you have one of my decks, honestly.

oh and yes no germans will come as it seems

it might be cool to race in amsterdam, yes, but not where sloten is located.
since we all know how much you suck we won't come either

take your time to check your registration list and you will see a lot more names missing.

and to say that this is my doing would be so absolutely uncorrect but expectable coming from your mouth later on,as always.

if you delete this reply again, what you really like to do,i will file an official complaint about your ways of dealing with things, since you are responsible for this forum.

coming back to the courses for this year:you said on a dutch forum that you wanted to prepare the courses starting this weekeend.
what does "prepare" mean in your brain?
for me it smells as rotten as all the grabage you are constantly posting

and...
i still have the mails of people from brasil you burned on money not sending them the stuff you sold them.
you will have a good explanation for that too which will translate into our fault again, right?

just make sure you keep your loud mouth shut.

you are overestimating your position.

First of all I will skip your nonsense about me using your board and germans not showing up and deleting posts and bla bla bla. This is totally irrelevant here.

Now this is then funny again:

THE KEY! !!!,you mentioned the KEY!!

well during the contest I was asked by the administrator of the park to be responsible for the key, which I was until I had to go home. Since the door to the lock rooms was supposed to be always locked someone had to be responsible for the key and give it to the competitors that needed to go to the toilet. I asked you to hold on to the key during the time that I was away otherwise people could not use the showers or the toilet. That is the story but now comes the funny part YOU LOST THE KEY!!!!! pathetically funny but true. And now you bring that subject like it is my fault. You blamed half the world for the key going missing. Finally on the last hours of the contest you walked to me with the key and said someone else had it. There is no problem here if you would have not mentioned it. Pathetic.

Now I agree I paid for the trailer and for the t-shirts. Indeed I asked for your help, I never said I didn't but YOU went one step further and said that you would run the contest yes sir you did. If you didn't please tell me why on Earth would you jump in the cold water for? If, like you said things were so bad? Why didn't you say something at the time. Why did you keep on going? You are a lair. Don't try to bring the rest of the team in this, you took the decision alone.

Regarding the free equipment, this is also not true. I got a discount from you because I did sell a lot of GoG trucks to Brasil. That is it.

Now lets go to the serious part of the post:

You stated in public domain, the Internet, that I stole money from people. As you are aware off I had one problem with a late delivery with one customer. This customer received his trucks. Actually to remind you I will post the e-mail you sent to me and then I replied to you regarding this problem at the end of this post. Mind you I sold more than 40 pairs of GoG's and neve had a probelm, everything I sold was delivered.

For now I want to inform you that I am contacting a lawyer this Monday and that I will start a court procedure against you. I will take you to European court for defaming my name. You can be sure of it. 100 % sure. So sure as I am I have NEVER stole from anybody and I want to see you prove it.

Write down my words. I am taking you to court. I am.

The e-mail from May 24:

hi flavio
we have a customer complaint here by the above mentioned person for not receiving paid trucks
we never! had this before

Don,

When I was in Brazil in December Eduardo came to me asking if I had trucks to sell. I told him they were sold out and that I would only have them in March. I told him I would send him an email with the dates when the trucks would be available. He told me he wanted to give the money to me. I said I did not want it, he should give me the money later. Because that would cost him extra he decided to give me the money to save the wiring costs. So I got his money in December. I never wanted his money in advance.

I have sold a liot to Brazil, Kako, Marcio, and a lot of other people bought them, in some cases waited longer then this guy is waiting now, JV for exemplo, waited 3 months for his trucks and never accused me of anything. I have waited 5 (five!!!!) months to be paid for a Hommer and I never accused anybody.

Everybody knows who I am in the skateboarding scene in Brazil, I don't need to steel 400 euros, I have a reputation. I am not a thief!

On March yu guys told me that the trucks would only be ready in April. I communicated that to Eduardo.

Eduardo kept on sending me email saying that the trucks were taking too long, I can't o anything about tghis and I can only be as fast as I get the trucks.

Then I told Eduardo I was going to have the trucks around 14 April, again there was a delay because the names of the trucks were misplaced. I got the truck another 2 1/2 weeks later

I send the trucks when I got them.

The trucks are on the way. They will be there either this coming week or the other.

This guy is creating problems because of his anxiety. He gave the money before because he wanted to. I understand he is has been waiting but that is something he has been informed.

If he had not written an email calling me a thief, he would have had a better explanation, however if you call me a thief, while I am not one you are bound to here shit from me for sure.

Why did you keep on going? You are a lair. Don't try to bring the rest of the team in this, you took the decision alone.
Try to bring the rest of the team into this? How can he not if most of his team mates / friends were heloing out? I remember I had to run to get my computer to look up the ISSA rules because nobody had a copy of them.

I think the answer for why he kept on going is becuase for the riders' sake.

I don't think it's Donald's fault that your name got defamed. I was there when it happened.

But anyway, this seems to be deeper than it seems. Sad story.

Calm down Flavio
I will take you to European court for defaming my name. You can be sure of it. 100 % sure. So sure as I am I have NEVER stole from anybody and I want to see you prove it.
Firstly, the European Court is the FINAL place for cases, not the first place. They wont be interested, dont waste your time.

That is advise I give you for free. Michael Stride LLB (Hons)

As for who did what at the race, from my part I saw how much gear Donald brought to the race. Its sounds like what Ive done for UK races. If you want ramps and timing, paying for the transport is what I look for. That does in no way actually pay for the true cost, the time loading, the time getting the van or trailer, (and back) ..the fuel. The batteries for timers, the cost of the cable. The cost of pens, boards, repainting ramps, tools, it ALL adds up. Peope dont realise how mush goes into bringing stuff.

Toilets? I didnt even realise there were any. Maybe thats why the Cypress Trees grow so tall?

Certainly if their are no Germans at the contest it makes it less attractive for many Brits to go. We do like Holland and the Dutch so it would be a big shame, and dont run a GS on that slope pleeeeeeeeze. its not worth it.

So, will there be ramps made then??? We need to know.

Michael,

There is no GS, please read post further up on this thread, we will have tight, hybrid and special.

We have one ramp like the one you see on the picture bellow and another one just like that will be built.

That formula didn't work though.
As a matter of fact at a certain moment during the contest you went sleeping in your truck! Ahahaha really funny. That must be the way you work. "
-ok, maybe I have to say a word from my side. We said we would help, not that we would run all of it. It was still your contest. In fact Donald had all the work, most of us had to race. All you had was a camping table, a small camping table....ok? SO pretty unfair to let someone who has done all your work setting up everything, running the whole thing...and now turn on him like that, C´mon man you can´t be serious....he went to sleep cause of some heavy headache. Yeah, pretty funny, don´t you think?

As a camper on the race, i also remember the key !
Or i should say the looking for the key, with which we would have been able to go to the toilets, or simply to have water (to drink, important isn't it ?), or wash ourselves...
Not really the best part of the week-end. :(
