Paris PSWC 2008: Hotels

Post by Stefano Bellingeri » Wed Apr 02, 2008 8:57 pm

Dear all,
I just wonder where to stay this year during the race's week end.
Is anybody out there able to help me to find a clean, not so far from Trocadero (and not so expensive) hotel where I can reserve a room for the long WE? Please consider that I will fly from Turin and I do not want to rent a car.
Thanks in advance,
have nice training sessions,
Stefano

It would be great if those who have good experiences of hotels in Paris could post here. Like that we could try to obtain a short(er) list of hotels to recommend.

On the event site (http://event.Riderz.net) to be released Friday the 4:th, you'll find a list of hotels, but it's not hotels that we know much about. So any information, positive or negative would be of help in order to update this list.

Well, we're about to book the same hotel as we booked in the 2 previous years but it's quite far away (République/Oberkampf).

Well it's not far from the opening party (Wednesday night) and the bowl (Friday).

I think you should look in Montparnasse next to the railway station, I don't have any name, but there some not-so-expensives hotels and it's only 6 stations from Trocadero on line 6 (approximatively 10 minutes from Trocadero and in the center of Paris..)
