Post by Jadranko Radovanovic » Tue Jan 23, 2007 8:05 pm

The World Cup Ranking (www.worldcupranking.com) will be taken as the ranking of the esrt.

This points should be included in the ranking. It is a issue to change.

Star Tier Points Breakdown

STAR TIERING SYSTEM
All events on the ESST Slalom Skateboard Tour are accredited:
4. Star, 3 Star, 2 Star, 1 Star ratings.

ESST Star accreditation denotes:
1. Significance of the event.
2. Quantity of ESST Ranking points obtainable.

Note: Higher Star rated events offer more ESST Ranking Points per position attained.

ESST Ranking Points:
The ESRT European Skateboard RacingTour ranking points available for a position at a specific Star tier, e.g. Four(4) Star, position 1 = 1000 ranking points Event Formats*

The accredited ESRT Ranking Disziplines are:

1. Straight Parallel Slalom
2. Spezial Slalom
3. Hybrid Slalom
4. Giant Slalom

* All Event Formats at the same star tier carry the same points value. Points value breakdown example:

ESRT RANKING SCORE

Men’s ranking score is based on:
AVERAGE OF YOUR BEST Four(4) POSTED RESULTS PER DISZIPLINE IN ONE SEASON.

If a rider has less than 4 results:
Their total Ranking Points from posted results are added and divided by four(4) to generate their ESRT Ranking Score.

If a rider has posted more than 4 results:
The results with the lowest ESST Ranking Points are dropped. The top 4 results are added and divided by 4 to create the riders ESRT Ranking Score.

2007 European Skateboard Racing Tour Champion:
The rider with the highest ESRT Ranking Score is declared European Skateboard Racing Tour Champion.

‘RESULT’ DEFINITION
- General ESRT Skateboard racing rules.
- Addition ESRT Diszipline rules
- Every Diszipline get Ranking score
- The Ranking is per Diszipline

What has the ESRT European Skateboard RacingTour to do with The World Cup Ranking (www.worldcupranking.com)?

What I know there is no World Cup and if so it seems to be something for ISSA rather than someone else. Why does not ESTR have its own ranking system?

It is starting to get a mess. I also think the problem is the ESTR and the World Cup Ranking effort is too similar to the current ISSA World Ranking. How will people be able to see the difference. It's hard enough getting through with one World Ranking.

I think we will have to be very clear to separate things. ISSA has nothing to do with tours/regional cups like ESTR or other international rankings like the so called World Cup Ranking. It should not be under the ISSA section.
