first of all a big thank you to each and everybody who showed up.
we had a few new faces and the comeback of a berlin legend(change of guard is in safe wrappers there now).

times shown reflect the best times in the several heats,so don't get confused.

the race was spiced up with some international flavour too, since paul price and ramon königshausen found their way to the venue and showed some pretty decent stuff.
since some say bicknell is tough...well we got something similar and the pros had 50 cones to go on a 6 foot distance, they liked it....

thanks to the sponsors(2 come with the suff the next days,i'll mail the schwag to the different recipients then)carhartt, globe VIBES in düsseldorf,me,myself, and me again and heiko from concrete wave skateshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks to all the participants and the weather gods for making this a very nice ending to an interesting season.
added to the races are the times now and you can see the difference between pro and am very clearly.the special course was the same for both groups and the tight for pros was 180 cms down the hill ,ams was 200 cms down the hill.pros had about 50 cones and ams about 40.
last but not least i want to say that i am not the only only looking forward to next years' races and kathrin sehl killing it.
she will be a lot faster even next year.there are not that many girls out there who can touch her.
superduperimpressive results käthe move forward we will help you and motivate you and push you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here are a few pics of the hill and the straight course, enjoy and thanks to joe hempel!!!!!
#1 a view from the top
Image
#2 pretty good shot which shows how steep that hill is
Image
#3 course is ready
Image
#4 dominik getting beaten by paul in the straight

#5 ramon and stevie coneparty

This was one of the better race days I had this year. The GWRS No.2 prouved that racing after a great season can still be fun.
We had the best weather you can get in Gangland at this time of the year.
Both courses where fast and challenging and made the race really interesting.
In the AM-league G.o.G-Frank and Olli showed that they are ready for the Pro-Class.
Next year they better give a chance to new or reborn racers like Kongo, who showed great potential. This guy will rock the AM-class soon.
Local racer Manfred looked promising in the last sessions we had together and surprised everybody but also himself by stepping up to a third place.
Dominik prouved his ProClass-abilities again.
After quailfying last in the tight race, Paul Price got better with every run and finally came up to second place beating Homer.
"Füchschen" Ramon dominated both races taking two first places and impressing all spectators with his fast and clean runs.
Kathrin prouved her skills again by beating some higher-ranked lads.

At least everybody else looked good yesterday because the mood was absolutely great!

Thank you to Donald for setting the courses and pulling this off again.
Thank you to everybody coming from far away like Stuttgart, Berlin, and even Zürich and London.

To those who couldn't make it to Düsseldorf:
you missed it and you were missed!

... yo thanks a lot to the whole crew that made the race possible - we had perfect weather and a pretty well organized race - special probs go out to donald and PAVEL for the "berlin care package" in form of a starting ramp and for the sponsor stuff. special thanks to holger kindler who gave the berlin crew a save place to stay and some fresh beer and a classic friday punkrock night until 4 o`clock in the morning, thanks to ASTRA BEER and the SONIC BALLROOM CREW, special thanks to heiko and CONCRETEWAVE.de - the berlin trio made a few kilometres but had a great weekend. yeeeaaaaaaahhhh kongo is hot. starsky is in the starting blocks for the next season and the wallcity crew hopes to show up with some old-fresh faces in 2007. we will see ....

cheers from berlin
svenne

As I wrote to Don', I wasn't abble to make it this WE, too many last-minute things to deal with, Guillaume had an injury, Patrick had too much work.
I was the only one to have a car so VinZzZ and Charles were obliged to stay at Paris.... sorry again boyzzzzzz !

I hope too meet my friends from Germany very soon....

Sorry again Don !

Fred.

Super nice weekend - the frenchies missed something for sure! (I was supposed to hand over some stuff to one of you - noone showed up, that's a pity!) Friday Bowl! Saturday "screwing-session" with Baumann (big thanks for letting me stay at his place all-weekend) Sunday Slalomrace, two diciplines!!! (Straight 1.80 on a hill rocks)
Unfortunately nobody made for the bowl after the race...
Monday Slalom on the Essen parking lot...nice training spot you got there!

Thanks to Donald; for the bowl and all the nice stuff

thumbs up
