Never in my life did I knock 12 cones in a tight slalom (even in England)! So I think there must be a (minor) mistake in the counting of that in the finals, but who cares?... DIDN'T I MANAGE TO GO THROUGH THIS COURSE WITHOUT HITTING ONE SINGLE CONE ?

Doesn't this qualifies me for the Guiness book of world records?
So could you please offer me a Guiness??? or a record???

P.S.: At the end of the day kidding will probably kill me!

popol, I once also had 12 cones. It was because of the darkness although we had flood/spotlight!(?) After we changed the dark red cones with white/orange ones, nobody hit so many cones once again.

No way! What will my Swedish (girl) fan-club say if I get to Stockholm with such a background???

I didn't feel (too many) cones with my ankles nor did I see cone judges with horrifying signs on my way up. So : There must be a mistake. But nobody gives a SXXX...

Anyway no harm done that can't be put right again with one of your speakers' kiss on the cheek.... and please not Chris...

One cone hits another and so on => Domino-effect!

If some of you want advice to hit a maximum cones :-).
My second run against Luca I realise a nice score of 26 cones. Is it the best performance?
But I've enjoyed this slalom .I don't remember I've touched the last cones just before the arrival, but when I have looked back there were no more stand up and the cone marchall has put me a 9.
oups!
I think with a smallest board I could do it with really less cone. Anyway it's what I like when I go on different event , different slalom and some surprise sometime. Challenge is to finish it. anyway I take my revenge on the GS in LA GAROUPE. At least a fast and wide one!!!

Yes, but there's no domino effect when you hit NO cone... or very few cones...
show me a DVD where I hit more than 7 cones and I'll buy you a golden C81!

okay, so it might have been some cones from the other side that hit some of yours.

=> Maurus and I had to make a rerun because the conejudges couldn't decide how and by whom cones the were hit.

That is it all about.

Jean Paul, I think they just mixed up our cone penalty. I remember being 21,5 cm behind of you during the second run in the cut to eight, but I also remember hitting many cones. I also remember you hitting cone number 26, only. You made the cut anyway so the mistake does not change the outcome.
I may have DVD to prove, I must check, just had it in the mail yesterday.

Thanks Chris, who's got the DVD of this contest ( or other contests)? I just bought a player and can't wait to see slalom images to put my brain to work and analyse some of the best skaters' techniques... It's true we were really close during those runs.

CU all soon!
